Darya Khan's Tomb - Historical landmark in New Delhi - New Delhi, India

The Tomb is very old but it's in good condition the darya khan tomb and dudhnath temple both are the same province but there is the wall border and it's open all days. If you are interested in the historical places you must visit here at once. The address is rk puram sector 5. And the gurudwara and government park is the landmark for this place and the nearest metro station is munirka. It's a walking distance from munirka metro station to darya khan tomb.

Seriously good place for those who want to peacefully atmosphere and nature beauty. Darya Khan tomb is dedicated to darya who was the chief justice during the reign of Bahlol Lodi and founder of the Lodi dynasty in the 15th century. After Bahlol Lodi's death, Khan became the lawyer of his successor Sikandar Lodi. This is a very unique tomb. The grave of darya khan is built on a platform and is surrounded by small bastions on the side with cupolas. Walking distance (800m approx) from south extension Delhi metro station.

Best and largest park in this locality. Peaceful and green /eco friendly environment.

Nice place for walk relaxing playing for all ages. Nicely kept clean. Missing a washroom and clean drinking water. The tomb main could be better kept in an inclosure away from humans.

A historical monument in very good condition. A peace of history and may be of great interest for the students of history and archeology surrounded by a beautiful garden and a Gurdwara nearby.

I reached there on a sunny afternoon only to find that the surrounding park has open and close timings so I went there the next day and found that the monument was partly in a dilapidated condition. Beautiful place. Such a peaceful environment, full of greenery. One of the best places for a morning walk. Such fresh air, scenic view and nature's pure essence. Worth the visit, everytime.
