It is an incredibly beautiful, peaceful space to be in the admist of a very busy city.
The gardens are really spacious, with plenty of buildings to explore dotted around. It was lovely to see peacocks surrounding the space. Staff were friendly and even when busy there are still places for quiet contemplation.
It's one of the must see sightseeing spots in Delhi. I wasn't very impressed by the way it was maintained. The lawns were not manicured and there was litter around. The building needs to be looked after too ... no guides were visible so I guess one of the spots where you read up and go.
We did a quick 1 hour trip and left.
Overall a great architectural style and monument from the Mughal era.
Tickets PS6 for non Indians
The buildings and the entire complex are truly magnificent. The architecture is designed with meticulous geometric precision, ensuring that everything maintains its perfect harmony without feeling too stiff. I don't give 5 stars only because restoration work is required for nearly all of the buildings. However, despite this, it remains one of the standout highlights of our trip in Delhi.
It's really a masterpiece building in delhi... We need to buy tickets for entry.. There are so many Peoples are Coming daily, so i will recommend visiting on weekdays.. It is such a wonderful building.. It's really well maintained and keeps clean.. Highly recommended to visit...
Nice place to visit. Ticket cost is 40 rupees for an Indian and for foreigners the cost is around 500-600 Indian rupees. You can pay online as well. If you pay online the ticket will cost you 35 rupees (for Indians). You can get the essence of old time (1570s). It is well preserved. So overall experience here is nice.
Don't miss this beautiful tomb complex of the second Mughal emperor built in 1570. 600 Rupees for foreign visitors at the ticket booth. 40 Rupees for Indians. One can easily walk to visit the Sunder Nursery garden complex abutting which houses six more Mughal world heritage monuments
One of the most underrated and beautiful spot in Delhi. The architecture is nice. It's a place for photography lovers. Best time to visit is in early morning when there are less people.
Humayun's Tomb is a gem in Delhi. The serene atmosphere and beautiful surroundings make it a peaceful retreat. You can sit in the lawn and cherish the mesmerising view. A truly delightful experience that I would recommend to anyone seeking tranquility amidst historical beauty.
Some areas could be better maintained, and it's disheartening to see people littering despite multiple dustbins inside. Please do not to litter, especially at historical places.
Paid parking is available for Bikes and Cars.
