Bhool Bhulaiya - Historical landmark in New Delhi - South, India

Bhool Bhulaiya is situated in front of Mehrauli Bus Terminal. It is an octagonal-shaped tomb that is not maintained by the respective authorities. It was built by Akbar. There's no cleanliness here but the outside view is good for spending an evening. An hour would be enough for the wandering. You can also enjoy the street food of Mehrauli, the archaeological park, Jamali Kamali, Sheesh Mahal, and Qutub Minar. The narrow roads here would take you back to old times as Mehrauli is one of the oldest towns in Delhi. Enjoy.

Amongst the lesser-known historical monuments of Delhi lies a stupendous structure commonly known as Bhool Bhulaiya. Bhool Bhulaiya is situated just opposite to the bus terminal of Mehrauli. It is an octagonal shaped tomb built by Akbar for his general, Adam Khan. It consists of a domed octagonal chamber in the Lodhi Dynasty style in 14th century. It has a verandah on each side pierced by three openings and that too without the usual eaves below the parapets. The structure is been maintained by government with no entry fee. Tomb is sprawling with youngsters during the weekend and has lot space for photography enthusiastic. One can visit the tomb between 8am to 6pm and is open everyday. While visiting Qutub Minar, you may plan for a short visit to an astonishing monument !!!

It is near the Qutub minar . If you visit Qutub minar then you may come here also it's very nearby . It's not that big complex but has maze like structure . Not so crowded as well . It has a tomb in it . There are not many facilities it's near the Bus Terminal Of Mehrauli. The opening hours are from 8:30 am to 5:00 p.m . Outside the Quila has narrow roads .

Good hangout place. U can walk around and have a very peaceful time. But people has been throwing bootles, packets and ciggerate all round also peeing in there. The place need some cleaning.

Best place for visit with faimly and friends, location is also quite easy, it is also known as wadham,s khan tomb,most important thing is need to maintain the cleanliness and it looks like haunted house!!

Adham Khan's tomb is one of those Delhi structures that are neglected both by people and governments.
