Wanted to try The Salad Story since a long time but turned out a damb squib. The salad was below average and didn't felt fresh. The lemon chicken wrap was good as compared. The location is also funny, but I understand Khan Market rents
Interesting concept. Food was tasty, not at all boring as a salad can be. Ambience was fine. A bit expensive and quantity was lesser than expected. To conclude, can be tried and if it matches ur pocket and hunger depth, it can be a nice place to be in. We went with Zomato Gold membership so didn't hurt much on pocket. Had Oriental Soba noodles and Grilled Veg wrap with Pesto sauce..liked it.
Calm and beautiful place for food. Although it's a small cafe with very less seating available. I had pasta and sandwiches and loved them. Service is good. Light music played. Place smells good too. Overall, a thumbs up.
Order a salad, wrap and 2 shakes.
The salad was amazing! The shakes were mediocre I particularly did not like the flavours. The wrap was fine.
This place is overpriced for me, considering that the bill was around Rs. 700 despite using Zomato gold.
Finally got my hands ( read fork) on this place. Tried a salad (Grilled vegetable with blueberry vinaigrette), a warm meal bowl (Oriental soba noodle bowl), and a drink(mixed berry ice tea). All of them were lip smacking and guilt free of the calories. I could sense them yumminess even while typing this.
Coming again!
A lovely tiny shop in a corner of Khan Market that offers you healthier food options, pretty obvious by the name. But they have great flavours and their salads are not those that leave you "empty-stomached". Though I'd say that their portions could be somewhat bigger and prices lesser, these are the only factors that deter me from going back more often. Of course, who can shell out 400-500 rupees on a salad only multiple times a week? Otherwise, a great place to try.
I had "Black Rice with Grilled Chicken" and with a mixed berry smoothie. The smoothie wasn't on menu, there was a strawberry smoothie but they made it mixed berry on request. They asked for honey or sugar to be put in the smoothie and even with slightest sugar it tasted great. The main dish - salad - had ample quantity for a single person, I couldn't eat it all, they packed the rest for me.
The staff was extremely humble, attentive and kept asking if I liked the food and smoothie. It's a quiet little place in khan market tucked in a corner.
Must visit for people wanting to eat a healthy salad rather than junk.
The grilled chicken with blueberry vinaigrette dressing could have definitely done with more greens. Nevertheless, it was super healthy - roasted almonds, flaxseeds, and bits of orange. Totally worth a visit, esp. for salad lovers :D
