The New Club( Poona) Ltd is nice place. The Greenary too good. The Chicken Sandwich also very Tasty. The parking area also good and Maintained well. The service also good.

It's a good spacious lawn and can easily accommodate upto a 1000-1500 people. The main stage is fixed. So if you're looking to setup another stage you can contact with three person in charge or your decorator

Visited here for lunch with friends. Non members have to pay Rs 50/- entry charge. Restaurant menu and pricing is tasty and economical. A mild beer costs 200; Old Monk 60ml for Rs 60/- .. a group of 10 adults and 3 children ordered ala carte (no buffet system), few drank alcohol and overall bill was Rs 4900/- which is a steal. Though it's a popular venue for wedding receptions, also a great option to catch up over a meal with family and friends. Sports facilities are limited to a card room , billiard room and single badminton court. Highlight though is the central and serene location amidst a secure defence area with ample parking. Courteous staff experience was an added bonus.

The New Club ( Poona) is a regular club for members, has regular events on occasions but its card room, snooker, in house restaurant and bar is functioning daily, it conducts ' tambola ' on Sunday evening for everyone who wishes to play ' housie', non members can participate by paying Rs 80/-. Nothing special about its ambiance or its food which is just about average. However hygiene, sanitation and cleanliness is much below par, infact downright dirty. A new caterers have taken over the restaurant, hopefully will have better variety. The place where tambola use to be conducted is under renovation, hopefully better ventilation and fans would be provided. There is no improvement in cleanliness in the club, infact it has worsened .

The club is brilliantly located, with even just a short stroll away. Being in the camp area, it is quite, lush and beautiful. Has a very old world charm. The people are excellent and went out of their way to be helpful. Food is decent. The room was very dinghy and not very clean. Amenities were in short supply as well. (no iron!) Hence the 3 stars.

A great venue for events such as wedding receptions, engagement or such events for 300+ people! Enough space to have a dance floor and ample parking area for both two wheelers as well as four wheelers.
