In Delhi I lived next to the ashram and was well aware of it's beauty and sanctity. However, this time I had the good fortune of staying in it's pristine environment. The ashram is unimaginably beautiful and the words that come to mind are purity, cleanliness and serenity. Birds, especially peacocks call out through out the day. The beauty of early sunrise accompanied with the symphony of bird calls needs to be experienced to appreciate. The inmates are eager to help and play a big part in maintaining the stature of the ashram. A place I would like to stay without a second thought.

The place is beautiful to stay but has serious phone network issue. The food is organic, simple and good. Everything is self service. Breakfast at 7am, lunch at 11 45 am, dinner at 7 30 pm Beautiful view, garden, meditation hall. Don't forget to visit the shop.

A nice place to sit and relax. The meditation room is good to sit and introspect. The veg sooji cake was tasty. Do sit in the canteen and eat with the residents of ashram.

It is a nice meditative place in the middle of delhi. Very calm and Sri auribindo's relics are there . However you have to be a sadhak to visit this place . There are some excellent teachers who take classes on gita and savitri and regular morning and evening meditation sessions.

Sri Aurobindo Ashram is located at Begumpur Road, Sarvodaya Enclave, New Delhi, Delhi 110016 India. One of the famous and great philosopher and great human being Aurobindo ashram have a good infrastructure. The green campus is excellent. The ashram is surrounded by the large number of greenery areas and plants .

Only ashram of The Mother and Sri Aurobindo other than the orginal one situated at Pondicherry (Puducherry), Tamilnadu, is this - Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Delhi Branch, where everything is just Majestic and evidently under the Divine Mother's blessings. Just come here... stay at Tapasya... sit down beside the Shrine and keep your mind still.. your heart open... you will instantly feel the energy and vibration of the Divine Shakti which is surrounding the campus. We have been visiting the Ashram for over two decades and it remains one of the our most preferred places where the mind experiences the divine in the form of serenity and tranquility in the meditation hall along with the surroundings and the pleasant environment.
