Very good shopping experience in Calicut city. Majority of the store is focused on woman's clothes. There are selection for men also. Friendly and polite staff. One of the Best place for wedding purchase. Good parking facility available. Located in Mini Bypass Rd, Near Sarovaram Bio Park, Kozhikode.

I recently purchased a kurta set from Silky, and unfortunately, it turned out to be a complete disappointment. The material felt cheap and flimsy, and the stitching was of such poor quality that it began to unravel after only a single use. When I attempted to contact the shop for a solution, they were unresponsive and uninterested in my concerns. The reason why I thought of putting this comment is that for most people, this brand might be the first choice when choosing our attire. Just because the group had already concreted its fame and established its name, the authority cannot lose the commitment to any customer. It is disappointing to see such a well-known brand failing to deliver quality products and customer service. Overall, the product was not worth the money I paid for it. The quality is simply not up to par, and the lack of customer service is unacceptable. I feel that my trust in this brand has been completely shattered, and I will not prefer consuming this brand anymore. If you are considering purchasing a quality product from Silky, I suggest looking elsewhere. Revert message (as there is no option to reply to the owner) : As previously mentioned, I visited your shop to address the issue at hand. However, I did not receive the attention that I expected from the person I spoke with. They simply suggested to shorten the sleeve, which would not entirely resolve the problem as the cloth was damaged in multiple areas. Due to the humiliating response I received from the staff member, I chose to bring attention to the matter through a public comment. Despite attempting to contact your store via the given phone number, it was unsuccessful as the call automatically hung up after two rings. Furthermore, I have observed that your response to my review/issue appears to be a generic, copy-paste comment to show the public that you are trying to solve the issue.

Had purchased a saree on 6.9.23 from silky Calicut.The thread had came out and when we requested for a replacement their response was all their sarees were same and it was not a damage.Highly disappointed to have such an experience.Sharing the picture below

Old silky has lost its charm. Untidy interiors, lack of light, foul smell and lack of maintenance and attention prevails everywhere. Sofas on the first floor needs replacement. Flower pots are kept in a shabby way. Still managed to purchase.

Staffs are very attentive and experienced. Well maintained shop and kept neat and tidy. When you're looking for your wedding dress, the most important thing is to trust your gut. What you want, what feels right, and what makes you feel beautiful are all equally important so staffs are not forcing us to buy any particular dress, they are patient enough to show their entire collections untill we are satisfied.

Very Bad Customer Service I recently had the misfortune of visiting this textiles store and it was an experience I won't soon forget, and not for the right reasons. The entire visit was marred by the incredibly rude behavior of one of their staff members, Riyas. From the moment we entered the store, Riyas made it abundantly clear that he had no interest in assisting us. His dismissive attitude and lack of willingness to help were shocking. It's astonishing that someone in a customer service role would display such blatant disregard for customers. To make matters worse, Riyas directed his rudeness towards my sister. He spoke to her in a condescending tone and displayed a complete lack of professionalism. It was not only unpleasant, but it was also deeply offensive. We came to this store hoping for a pleasant shopping experience, but Riyas single-handedly ruined it. It's a shame that a business would allow such behavior from their staff to persist. I cannot in good conscience recommend this store to anyone, given the deplorable treatment we received from Riyas. In summary, if you value basic courtesy and respect as a customer, steer clear of this place. The staff, particularly Riyas, have a long way to go in terms of customer service. It's a shame that one individual can tarnish the reputation of an entire establishment

I was not so happy with the choice available the service of staff who attended me was appreciable The communication between few of other staff had no respect for customer around them They were discussing about a customer loudly in the background nonstop and I was finding that annoying the level of complaining the sale people have about their customers was stunning This shop was a must go place until 10 yrs ago it definitely has failed to keep up the standard as competition and service is quite impressive in the newer places springing in calicut Array of staff trying to be over friendly not knowing where to draw a line Everyone may not welcome their overbearing attitude of sales person and the flip side once they judge if you are really buying or not is hilarious
