The Rabsal Cafe has an eye-catching wooden balcony on the Main Market. A spacious beautiful space with a wooden floor, half cut planks hanging from the ceiling, beautiful poplar-wood furniture, doors and window frames. There's plenty of colour too, in the indoor seating area. The wooden balcony with low cushioned seats and low tables is a nice place to hang out, with fine views of the market below, and the mountains encircling the Leh Valley, as well as the Leh Palace nearby. What probably doesn't work as well, is its second floor location in a building without a lift. With the Naas Cafe downstairs, it's easy to feel lazy and just stop by there. Rabsal's not so great location is compounded by indifferent service. I ordered a cappuccino, which I'd to get reheated. It tasted great after that. The balcony quickly filled up with young locals, and so I'd to drop my plans to read and linger in this fine space.
Excellent food, taste, quality wise its good, value for money! Just thay they are little slow at their service as they cook everything fresh, so my advice order everything at once, at the beginning only once you sit! Otherwise lovely place, amazing ambiance! Had a great time there! Enjoy your food there!
Really cool atmosphere and friendly staff, we order pizza, kurkure momos and honey chilly potato, food were awesome specially kurkure momos, i really like it a lot, honey chilly potato was good and pizza was okay. Interior of cafe is just awesome it will give you the feeling of entering into a traditional ladakhi home/ room.
Lovely place in the heart of Leh market next to the Leh monastery . On the second floor , recommended only for youngsters and strong hearts without creaky knees. Very hip decor all the way through the stairs and nice low sitting inside and also in the beautifully decorated terrace. The furniture is all carved out of local wood -willow and poplar and tastefully landscaped inside .It's also got a toilet for the tired tourist , needing a break. The menu spread is lovely for brunch and supper. The momos are lovely and delicious. It's also got a huge assortment of pizzas and french fries . The hot drinks offered are variety of coffee (richly brewed ) and lovely ayurvedic, honey lemon tea . There are various flavour of tea. Certainly evry penny worth for the tired traveller after a he tic day of touring and sight seeing. The staff is extremely courteous. While in Leh , try a meal for sure .
Wonderful cafe, welcoming staff, nice music, cozy interior. I am a salad lover - ordered Chicken Greek Salad. I had to wait a bit longer than the usual time for just a salad, but once I saw it I realized why - the chicken was not just ready from before and warmed up but prepared at the moment. One of the best salads I have had! Will be visiting often Rabsal cafe while I am here in Leh!
Waited 1hour for a sandwich..
The service is so bad... The waiter lady is so biased... They served her friends first even though we came first..
1hour for a sandwich is not worth at all... They write the ordered dishes on a note pad but still forgets half of our order..
And
The food, we ordered a margarita pizza which was soo hard to chew and was cold too and biryani's chicken was not cooked properly..
I suggest the owner of this cafe to make it better and hire new workers...
It's a beautiful cafe situated in Leh main market. We tried different types of coffees and mint lemonade. Everything was great-the taste, the view, ambience and our overall experience. Chill place to visit with friends.
