OYO 8878 Chinar Lake View - Hotel in Nainital - Kumaon, India

You can get the best view from here but the service of the hotel is below average

The staff has very rude behavior, they don't have proper communication with each other.They don't accept bookings from other sites and they also lied to us about parking facility.They refused to give us parking facility.

Location is not good, service is not good, rooms are not good as well if you're wondering in Nainital and you not reached the hote before 11:00 pm in night they will closed the door, switched off the mobile and you can't go to the balcony after 10:30 pm. Their workers have to much attitude they don't know how to treat with their customers. They are scammers as well they said they have hot water, 24/7 rom service, personal balcony, but they don't have any of these and when you said to return the money after 10 minutes they will say you used our bathroom so we can't refund the money.

The rooms are worst full of smell.. The prices are very high ...

We loved the Hotel - Chinar Lake View The location can't be beat! We had a spacious room with beautiful views and wonderful service and hospitality from the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. Our room had all of the conveniences we could hope for and we loved the breakfast service every day! We will definitely plan a return stay on our next visit! Thanks for making our visit to Nainital that much better.

Pathetic hotel and OYO service. No cleanliness, no proper hygiene. The hotel staff is also eating in the same utensils which are being offered to the customers. No hot water is available for bathing. There is no privacy. The hotel staff roams in the common balcony and peeps inside the room. Couples please avoid this hotel. Everyone should avoid this hotel. Much better hotels are available in the same price on the main mall road. Please avoid this hotel and OYO

Very nice view of naini lake from the room. Service is too good. The manager is very kind person. Hotel food is tasty, delicious. Dining table in the middle is available. You can book vehicle for travelling from the hotel. Very cooperative.

It was not worth at all. We booked it because it is provided by OYO and expected it to be good. About location, its on zoo road, about 300 meters from Mall road. I would not complain about this as I was aware of it. About the hotel and reception, its bad. Just a few rooms in a building, nothing else. Reception was pathetic. Dirty, broken sofas, used towels on the chairs etc. About room, it was ok. It was clean and the only good thing about it. Else, everything was audible from outside and inside. You have to talk in a very low voice. There was no cupboard. Hot water is available from 7:00 am to 11:00 am only, else they provide hot water in bucket. We choose lake view room. View was fine but the hotel staff was sitting in the balcony (common), so we could not open the curtains and enjoy much of the view. Most of the electric switches were not working. Water was provided in the room after asking. Staff behavior was ok. It seemed that they were inexperienced and sound rude. They don't know how to talk to and behave with guests. Food also surprised us. We booked it through OYO, therefore, breakfast was complimentary. There were four options, aloo parantha, grilled sandwiches, butter toast, and jam toast, and you can choose only two plates of anything. Also tea or coffee. There was no buffet breakfast available. I would not suggest this hotel at all as other better hotels are available at a better price nearby.
