Matri Mandir - Hindu temple in New Delhi - South, India

Its a beautiful temple i visited it during Durga Pujas on last day, its well maintained, clean and there is paldals of variety of veg n non veg outside temple. One of the best places to visit during Durga Pujas in south Delhi.

Matri Mandir (Kali Bari) located at Safdarjung Enclave Block 2 is a Maa Kali Mandir, is a very nice place, operated by the Bengali Community In Delhi. You can witness Sandha Arati here. We stayed here for 7 days. A very good Dharmashala. Here they have a canteen where Bengali food is served. They also cook for the patients on request.

For Duja Puja celebration, they decorate one of the most beautiful pandals and you must add it to your list of pandals for pandal hopping. The pandal is full of positive vibes and celebration during the Durga Puja. They have a parking facility available too.

Went there for Durga Puja festivities, a must visit place otherwise and during Durga puja as well, this time they had a Disney land theme, worth going there

It was quite empty.when.we visited. The Puja was going on followed by Anjali.

There is a different experience of peace by visiting the Matri Mandir. The temples are very nice. The grandeur of this temple is great especially during Durga Puja, only happiness and beauty is visible everywhere. I am just sorry for one thing, that the members of the temple do not consider themselves less than anyone. Their behavior towards others does not appear to be right,rest .. Best wishes

Been there twenty years ago when we're children with our parents. Now after twenty years, going there was a visit to nostalgia amidst memory lanes. The bhog, arati, anjali added some divinity, spirituality and freshened up memories of childhood.
