Krishnam-Nainital - Hotel in Nainital - Nainital, India

Parameters to review a property are location , approach , comforts , cleanliness , service etc we stayed in this property for 3 days along with parents and kids. This was my worst experience as a property listed on air bnb. Initially the host will encourage to make a booking outside of Airbnb to save the air bnb fee and taxes and because that suits the guest also the guest will agree and there lies the trap. First of all I highly recommend to book the property through some portal and not directly. 1. It's very difficult to reach the property it's a steep uphill climb and taxi is also not available easily due to entry timings on Mall road. 2. The rooms are disgusting dirty sheets, towels etc, very old and poorly constructed rooms with shabby plastic furniture. 3. The rooms are infested with insects like beetles , snails , spiders 4. The look and feel of the rooms is like a badly maintained dharamshala. 5 You will find the gas stove in kitchen without gas cyclinder. No induction . 6. Milk powder was expired 7. We asked for an induction stove or hot plate and the host asked for rupees 800 daily rent for induction. 8 This property is highly priced . You will get a lot of better options on Mall road itself. 9 The host charged Rs 4000 per night for stay only of my driver And yes you have the view of Lake outside your room but what's the point if the stay is not comfortable.

The Rooms were not clean. The Property Owner and Helper were not at all accomodating and while discussing the issues, they were very rude. We had to call them up multiple times to ask for the bare minimum items that should have been provided beforehand. We're very disappointed with the Stay overall. The Location and the Views of the Property are a treat to eyes but being a Property listed on AirBnb, there should be certain criterias before being allowed to List. Please improve the quality of Service!

She didn't gave any information regarding place being uphill. Overcharged us and was very rude. She was not ready to provide even listed amenities. Small dingy and smelly rooms. Don't stay here it's a scam run by the owner to lure tourists and extort them.

Our experience was very bad. There were spiders freely roaming in rooms. And the behavior of the owner was very arrogant. Worst experience. 0/10

What a Lovely Place to Stay! The staff was helpful prompt and very nice to us during our stay. The owner Niveditha, was wonderful! Knew about the places to see and to eat in nainital and every request we had she gladly accepted and delivered promtly! Even was able to get us in contact with the local cab drivers for doing a local tour at very reasonable prices! The views from the Stay were spectacular and peaceful! Youd pull up a chair and just sit there and look at the views for hours! The food was absolutely great We only had brekfasts during but they had a expansive menu in our rooms and the food was delivered very quickly too The walk up to the stay was a bit long but views were so good it made it worthwhile, The rooms itself were very clean and with all the amenities you'd expect And had a great time interacting with niveditha's dog scotch The pricing of the rooms was good too! I'd highly recommend this stay to anyone who is planning to visit Nainital!

WORST PLACE. Host Nivedita's behaviour is very bad and arrogent. She didn't told anything about stairs , steep or parking. There is no parking and so slippery stairs or steep. She take advance from me 80% and after that she didn't refund us. I gave her suggestion for compromise to gave us 40% but she didn't gave. My 80% advance wasted.

The view from this place is nice The rooms are average but that is not the issue, the host not even give water bottles with the room they charge for it. And to reach the location you have to climb a lot. So please note this before booking

It was amazing stay with homely feeling. Food was really yummy. Location is good, view is also good. Host Nivedita is very helping person. Only problem is that it was at very steep location and car parking space is of one car only so we had to park at govt parking. Also there should be proper wardarobe with big mirror in the room.
