I purchased an annual premium policy from Kotak Life Insurance for Rs.1 lakh last year (single premium), solely to help a close friend who was an associate of the company. I made the payment using my credit card, and although I received email alerts confirming the transaction, I was not informed that future premiums would be deducted through ECS. On April 13th, I was surprised to find that the insurance premium had been deducted from my account and had bounced. I did not receive any prior communication regarding the ECS deduction, and only received alerts and phone calls from the service team after the fact (although I am unsure if it was the collection team). I signed the forms they provided me with, but I was never notified that the signature was for ECS. To my surprise, the ECS was again presented on April 29th and bounced. Once again, I was not informed beforehand and received only one IVR call requesting my consent to reschedule the ECS on April 30th. I disconnected the call without making any selection, but the ECS was still presented on April 29th. I am extremely dissatisfied, as my account had not bounced since 2004, and it has now been affected due to the insurance policy with Kotak.

Worst service. They will say they don't accept cash payments as server isn't working.seriously!! The only time you will get proper service is before you buy the policy.Just check the nu.bers shared,no one will answer the calls.

Came here to update my existing customer plan. The staff was courteous, proactive and got my work done in 15 min. This office is situated in Subham Square and not near Porur fly over. Awaiting for Google to approve the location update. Car Parking charges 25rs per hour. It's a congested place so you don't have an option to park your car outside. Kotak office is in first floor and parking in basement.

Location is incorrect.even after so many days they are yet to change it. They do not attend any phone calls and irresponsive. Totally a bad experience.
