Jahapanah City Forests - Nature preserve in New Delhi - South, India

What a wonderful green area in the heart of the city. Beautiful path made amidst the forest to walk/run/jog. Come, and forget your stress and sorrows at least for sometime. Whenever i come here I don't feel like leaving and thus always exceed my km target . You will mostly see people walking/ jogging/running. Some come here for yoga and excercise. Lots of birds, butterflies, bougainvilleas, monkeys can be spotted. Benches are kept on regular intervals. There are many entry gates: chirag delhi, sheikh sarai, masjid moth2, gk2, dakshin puri. Washrooms only the main Gate(Gate no 1, Don Bosco School)

One of my favourite place i visited in Delhi so far. A good place for early morning walks & exercises.

Jahapanag City Forests boasts of a 435 acres of trees, nature and open space right in the heart of the city. It is open in the morning and evening however, the timings differ for summer and winter seasons. It has two brick paths at both sides which lead you to the interiors. There are numerous benches for you to either take a break from your jog or walk, or just sit down and take in the clean fresh air while listening to the birds in the trees. There are very old banyan and other trees in the area. Squirrels, different bird species and a family of dogs call this place their home. Early in the morning you can see people of all ages either taking their morning walk, practising yoga, jogging or simply enjoying being one with nature. I spent most of my time walking around and watching the activities of the busy squirrels . It is a wonderful place to be in to feel calm and relaxed.

A massive forest area in the crowded metropolis of South Delhi. It is a delight to visit this place every time.

This is the Very nice park for running beginners . There are many types of flowers and trees and some types of animals. And this park is connected with many places like Tughlakabad,chirag delhi , dakshin puri ,DDA FLATS .

It's good one forest in Delhi when you enter into this forest you will feel like you are not in Delhi.... Of you spend some peaceful time it's good for you Running track is not up to mark Little bit of worry After sunset due to security lacking

Great forest area for running and jogging with a solid and vast running track. It also has a rich mix of wild animals and forest vibe.
