Well managed, neat & clean. Staff is good. Now, there is an exhibition going on depicting currency notes of different countries which showcase prime monument of that country.

One of the best places for documentation, research, archiving and programmes with reference to various segments of art, culture, interdisciplinary work and performance studies. Research scholars, eminent artists and seniors from various domains share their knowledge and work. A true hub for knowledge and Indian traditional/ cultural studies and more. Parking available. Auditorium facilities. Library. Resource centre. Cafeteria. Workshops, lectures, classes and more. Walkable distance from Janpath Metro stop.

A centre located in the central part of New Delhi. The centre is meant to preserve and promote Art and Culture and talent related therewith. This has been the venue through the year for many exhibitions, displays, festivals, live performances, dance, drama, regional flavours and many more aspects of culture, art, music, food and heritage. The place become more lively during Delhi winter months (normally November to February) as the weather becomes conducive to outdoor activities, venturing into open space and enjoy the events. It has a sprawling complex, both covered and open area, amphitheater, auditorium, reasonably parking space, accessibility to the venue; more so the entry to all such open events is free for visitors and free parking too. Temporary food stall are set up depending on the theme of the event, clean toilets, drinking water, natural greenery around... are some of the features which really add to the positivity of the venue. However, the type of visitors here have taste and flavours for the events (relating to culture, art and heritage) and not everyone visits the venue events.... which is indeed a blessing in disguise. The programmes are published in newspapers, banners and displays periodically and folks interested do keep a track of calender of events! Some pics of a couple of such events heppened on a certain day are appended.

The old Janpath Hotel of ITDC has now been converted to house the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts plus offices of the Ministry of Culture. A limited space on the ground floor is open to visitors when/if an exhibition is running. I was disappointed to see the limited collection of items on display and it makes no sense to come to this place especially. No fee for entry but you might be asked to sign in for some mysterious reason.

Awesome place- for High profile Guests, Very Peaceful &. Calm place One can have the delicious food as well at a very nominal cost. Nice ambience at the Restaurant - had a great time during my visit I recommend one should stay there at least for 2-3 days to have a nice break of routine life.

One of the best places to observe and learn much about our own history. The way things started and developed to this day. It gives us a connection to our ancestors of the past. The way they lived their lives and how things like bronze and copper came to use and more unknown interesting facts. So, surely have a go if you are in Delhi. A must visit. Good place.
