Government Medical College Post Graduates Boys Hostel - Boy's Hostel in Jammu - Jammu, India

Lived here for a decade roughly...majority of students are nice , intelligent , hard working and non interfering and respectful.... I personally liked the library of gmc very near to hostel , camaraderie with friends of hostel, our mess owners ballu , handu , lambu bhai , and reasonable hostel charges which were very less as compared to new medical colleges... of late trend of some anti social , alcoholic , druggist students has evolved...they usually create a mess during some international cricket match , will abuse you , will break doors and windows and when reciprocated , they will use some religious slurs in the disguise of nationalism ...requires mentoring by some rational , liberal mind of 21st century.....

Its a good campus n very cooperative. Have parking facilities also. Must visit n see the the internal view.

Poor in quality Lacks in infrastructure Misbehaving staff Will get infected if you go there.

It is just amazing, located opposite KC cinema on the road heading towards the bakshi nagar chowk.The locality is really calm,the newly built hostel are equipped with best facilities and interiors.There is a bolcouny for every single room,so everyone can enjoy sunset and sunrise.

It's my college....3 stars coz of the behaviour of doctors which needs improvement...It's emergency department is run by mostly PGs and registrars..Needs improvement in all the aspects..no space for parking for PGs..

This is one of the hostels of Government Medical college Srinagar. This hostel is situated near the SMHS Hospital. The hostel infrastructure is good and the meals provided are also superb. There is also a reading room in this hostel. Generally every student is being offered his own room with common washrooms for a floor.

It's a wonderful place that holds a special place in my heart, where I've truly made a life.
