I am sharing my personal experience with Fabloon for anyone that might find it useful. I went to this boutique based on google reviews but my experience was far from what the ratings suggested. Firstly, the positives - convenient location and studio was spacious and nicely setup. The reason for a 1 star review - I had some fairly routine styled blouses to be stitched and requested a quick turnaround as I was traveling abroad. They obliged to that request and turned it around on time as they said they would. I really appreciated the quick turnaround (3 days). However, I was appalled at how wrong they were with measurements that were taken by them in person. There was one blouse which I couldn't fit in at all - they did acknowledge this was a complete mess up and were kind enough to not charge me for it. There were two others that had to go through a couple of round of alterations before it had a decent fit but honestly while discussing the alterations it didn't feel like I was working with tailoring experts. I felt like I could have gone to a standard tailor and not a boutique for this kind of experience. Perhaps the most frustrating part of the experience was that the rationale they offered was 'we took measurements in front of you so you should have said something when we took measurements' :) I honestly was at a loss of words at that point. Anyway sharing my experience for whoever may find it useful.

My experience with Fabloon boutique has been overall positive with a few hiccups. I give them high marks for neatness of the premises, responsiveness/ease of communication (thank you Synthia), customer service and timeliness in delivering requested items. Stitching quality, embroidery and finishing were also quite good. Where I would wish to see improvement is in more attention to detail in the design stage, some more sample pictures of the designs besides what is on the website and some more experience with long sleeve designs. I went to Fabloon with the intent of establishing a longstanding relationship with a tailor in Chennai. Despite the limitations of having a short 2 week window in Chennai to get tailoring done Synthia was able to get 3 sari blouses, 2 salwar kameezes and 3 pattu pavadai sets made. From the the start Synthia communicated with me via Whatsapp to understand the scope and cost. My 12 year-old daughter and I went for measurements as soon as we arrived in Chennai. Synthia spent over an hour taking our measurements and going over the design. Two of the pattu pavadais were converted from my saris. One pavadai was a conversion from bodice-style to tie at the waist and fabrication of a new matching blouse. Within 48 hours the first pavadai and pair of blouses were done so we could trial them. I was really impressed with the pattu pavadai which achieved the classic old fashioned look I was going for. There were only a few minor adjustments that were done right away. The finish was neat with overlock stitching and smooth seams. The extra tuck to extend the height in the future was also nicely concealed in the border. One of the sari blouses (3/4 sleeve, close neck) however needed a few more adjustments (namely open up the sleeve to allow bending at the elbow). After being satisfied with the 1st sample I gave the remainder of the order which was ready for trial a week later. The salwar kameezes unfortunately were a disappointment. The sleeves were so tight that we couldn't even pull them all the way on. The tailor neglected to leave a zip or buttons to be able to get it over my bust. When the design is meant to be so tight fitting it seems like that should be obvious. A zipper was added later. The salwar for my daughter was too short and had to be lengthened. The armholes in the kurta were too tight, I think because they were cut wrong. The last pavadai was a mixed result too. They converted the bodice to tie at waist very neatly. The embroidery work on the new matching blouse was outstanding. However the cut of the blouse sleeves was wrong and again they did not take into account the fact that the elbow width is wider than the upper arm. Unfortunately despite trying to adjust the arms, side and arm hole multiple times it still never quite fit right (you can see the assymmetry). We did not have time to come back and pick up the items after the final adjustments but Fabloon was able to courier it to where we were staying before leaving India. I think had we had more time we could have gotten a better result. I also suspect there is a difference in style sensibility for those living in Chennai and elsewhere. Especially in the US, we kids tend to dislike the super form-fitting styles that restrict movement and scratchy fabric. Overall I would choose to work with Fabloon again.

I visited this outlet in 2019 on my first trip to Chennai. I had a very good experience as my blouses fit so perfectly. As I had a short trip then,I did not even try them out after they were stitched. Only when I returned to Singapore, I tried them out and was very pleased with how they turned out. This June, I made a trip to Chennai and went to Fabloon this time to stitch punjabi suits. The stitching was very well done and she even gave very good ideas on how the suits should be stitched. I highly recommend their service. They deliver their best service! Thanks Fabloon once again for such good service

I stitched my wedding, reception, Nalungu and engagement blouses with them. I was little sceptical at first because i have never used them before but, i must say they did a great job. I stitched multiple blouses, Salwar suits and many other casual stuffs for myself and my mom since 2020. What draws me to these place is their detailing and perfection. Due to time or location restrictions l was hardly able to let them know in person about the designs or measurements. But from my first experience itself l was surprised to see how awesome they are! With minimum details that l gave in terms of design or measurements, Julie and her team perfectly figured out my requirements. I am more than happy with their service. And with the quality they provided to me, l have no complaints about the prices they charge. Thank you team for helping me out and making me look awesome every time

Cheap and best boutique in Chennai. They did a wonderful job on the bridal blouse, the fit was really awesome. I really love the way they work and had a pleasant time with them! Thank u so much fabloon...

The fitting was good except I had to remove a couple of stitches because they took my measurements thru video call but otherwise it was well made.
