Doctor. Indira Chaturvedi is one of the best paediatricians, that we have seen so far. She is a wonderful human being, lovely to speak with at all times. I have two sons. A neighbour recommended Dr Indira Chaturvedi in 2010. Then we were looking for my first son a doctor conservative with medicines and with focus more on preventive health care. Happy with the way she consulted, we continued with her for our second son from his birth. Dr Indira explains the kids condition in a manner that instills confidence to the parents. She doesn't over medicate (and this continues to be an important parameter for me). She prescribes antibiotics when it is needed and not when the parents want it :-) . That too, she will let us know in the prescription itself with clear instructions. There have also been instances where she told us not to visit her for a minor increase in temperature . She coached us to take care of the kids with clearcut instructions. We can also quote quite a few instances where we consulted over phone, when away from Chennai. This was during the pre-corona days. Dr. Indira chaturvedi has been extremely helpful and approachable for years,we have been visiting ever since our daughter's birth. She is professional yet very pleasant and loving to the children.
