Barbeque Nation- Vadapalani - Barbecue restaurant in Chennai - Chennai, India

Planned this for our meet up with friends. The ambience, location (very close to Metro) etc is super cool. Pani poori, starters were all good. Service felt like little slow - even with not a full house... Except starters rest are average! Biriyani and other rice items were ok, but the dal sabjis were bit disappointing. Desserts collection was reasonable, loved those moong halwa! Nothing fancy about ice cream, but the kulfi was a great disappointment. Hope they improve soon! The price is bit expensive for these in my opinion.

One of the poorest experience we ever had. Zero for the food and zero for the service. Entire service team had no idea or cohesion. Need to sit with empty plates all the time. The most happening live counter is terribly under staffed with one guy running over 4 counters. The meat was chewy. Main courses with no salt or spice.Even the usual suspects Cajun potatoes, crispy fried corn were over done. Try their biryani u would never dare trying biryani. Mutton sheekh and kulfi with rabdi were the only Saving graces. Gone of the days when BBQ nation gave great memories being the first buffet place I visited in their T. nagar branch. They run the show for the sake of it. We wasted a team outing there . It will be the last for us

Good service and ambience was good. Live counters could have been a bit quicker. After peak hours refilling could have been planned better.

Had nice experience! Went with friends and family. The ambience is good but quite crowded place. The main course quality should be improved. Desserts are just okayish need to be cooked better. The complimentary cake is dry and jam was applied. The bbq part, the vegetables were just falling, the panner was not marinated properly. refilling of the counter is slow. Need to improve the quality.

I went to the team lunch. Starters are too good but the dishes in the buffet are not as expected. Sorry to say this, even the roadside was good. Chicken dum biryani rice does not feel like basmati rice which is too low quality. I complained about that in the barbecue nation regarding the tastes of the buffet dishes. Last one desserts are too good. Money was somewhat compensated in that, pirni choco ball gulab jamun and more 10 desserts are good

It's a waste of money to be honest, I went to the vadapalani branch and I am not sure if it varies to other branches. The food was not great, especially the barbecue, the chicken pieces were extremely small for the amount of money we paid. Only the desserts were somewhat worth a bit of money but I would never go there again and waste my money. The waiters keep asking to rate the restaurant a five even thought they don't really work for it and make it awkward for customers and even annoys you when each everyone comes to your table asking you to rate it a five . They had paneer but they didn't keep it , we had to ask them for it .

We had a great time with our friends. Food was delicious and quantity was plenty. Our manager was also taking care of all our requests. AC in the main hall wasn't effective. Need to take care of that.
