Be aware before booking with Avenue 11 at Chennai.....
We booked 3 rooms for 3 nights and 4 days in August 2023. We arrived early morning and settled in the rooms. During the day we went to visit Chennai city. When we arrived back in the night, we came to know that the staff moved our luggage to another smaller and dirty room. They did not even try to call us and take our permission before touching our luggage. Before we left the room in the morning we had organized our clothes and other stuff in the room so that we can easily use it for next 3-4 days. All our stuff was thrown in another room like a garbage. No hotel or staff has any right to touch guest's luggage without permission. The manager was very rude and did not even helped us with the solution. This was very unprofessional and unethical behavior. I would say this was the worst experience we ever had.
Neat and clean hotel. Helpful staff. A bit of the main road , so location wise not the best. But thats nit a deal breaker.
Stayed 3 days with family for the purpose of US Consulate interview. Posh area.
Food was okay only, you will get great choice from outside. Breakfast choice was good.
Nearby Tamil Superstar Rajanikanth's house.
The photos make this lodging look boutique like and quaint. It is not quite that. Please be prepared to get a lodging that matches the star rating and what one pays compared to other more boutique like hotels.
Their accomodation, behaviour and everything is outstanding. I want to visit there again in my holidays.
Such a calm and prime location. Felt like we are staying in a home and not like any regular hotel.
Great value
Excellent chilled out place to hang out with a small group or couple. Loved the ground floor rooms that have access to the courtyard. I wish they had put a standing fan or cooler in the courtyard. I wish they had more staffs fot faster room services. Location is at pretty posh area just 500 meters away from Rajinikanth's house but the access to nearest daily grocery or cigarette Or booze shop or barber shop is about 1 km away, that's why a 4 star. Good job folks. Keep it up. Thanks and see u again.
