Great panoramic views of the concrete jungle wet dream tomato. And of course the tree and ice rink below is great to see in person. Lovely staff throughout the whole process too. Windy as hell up top so wrap up! Sadly the beam was closed due to the weather but rightly so on the day we visited.

It was nice, probably better at night. You get the full effect of the lights, but it would be more crowded. The tree looks so big on TV, but when you are close up, it looks smaller because of the height of the nearby building. The ice rink is much smaller than what it seems on TV and in the movies. The day we went, the elevator to the rink level was not working, so we could not go down as our friend uses a walker.

Rockefeller Center during the Christmas period is pure magic! The iconic holiday tree, adorned with dazzling lights, creates a festive wonderland. The ice rink below adds to the enchantment, making it a perfect spot for seasonal joy. Tip: Visit in the evening to see the decorations in full glory. Always great to see during the holiday season but be mindful that there are a lot of people and sometimes some areas are fenced off. But if you are a New York during Christmas time or the month of December, it is a place to go and see and take some pictures. You would not be disappointed. Other great places to see are the Smithsonian museums with the lines and stuff with the giant reef that they put around them.

Obviously, the best time of year to visit this place is December, but if you are there any other time, it is still a must place to visit. The Art Deco styling is some of the best you will see. It is very busy as expected but there are plenty of things to see and no shortage of places to eat.

Absolutely beautiful, this was the second time visiting, 1st time was the weekend before Christmas, and it was really busy . I could barely see the tree, and there were a lot of people. This time we went the weekend after New years and it was perfect. Saw the tree from every direction. Even from the shops below. Definitely recommend going after the holidays if possible. It was beautiful. Still quite a few people but not overly crowded.

Now I know I'm a New Yorker and we should not go visit the tree on the weekends. However, I had guest in town from Barbados, and it had never been here before, and they loved it. We were able to see the tree from the top to the bottom. We were able to watch the Saks Fifth Avenue show. I we'll see they had it pretty organized by closing down the streets, which gives a lot more space. They had an entrance in and an entrance out exit only, which really helped with the crowd control. But overall, it was beautiful. My in-laws enjoyed it. My bonus son, who has never been really, had a great time.

*Christmas Time Review* This place is great all around. During the Christmas Holiday this area is jam packed with very little walking room as people come to see the tree and lights on 5th. Would definitely recommend doing it, just be prepared for the large amount of tourists.
