We had a 3 day stay & it was great . I had booked a king room & we were assigned one on the 27th floor. The view was excellent. We saw the sphere every day & the back of the Eiffel Tower. Elara's location being right next to the Miracle Mile was a huge plus. Our king room did not have a kitchen nor a cook top but did have a fridge, sink, coffee pot, toaster, microwave, dishes, silverware & a dishwasher. It was just what we needed. It also had a pullout couch, a magnifying mirror, good lighting and a jacuzzi tub. The bed was very comfortable. You could park using the valet service or self park your car. The lobby was nice with a bar & a Starbucks. All of the staff members we had contact with were pleasant. The resort fee was reasonable compared to some of the other hotels. We'd stay here again.
This property is spectacular! The 2 bedroom suite was amazing with a wonderful view of the sphere. We were blown away with how nice the suite was. The location of the property is super convenient being connected to the Miracle Mile Mall. Plus it is a short walk to and virtually in the middle of the strip. Everything employee we encountered had a smile on their face and was eager to help. We could not have ask for more from the property or staff. We will be back!
Upon check-in, the representative would not honor our request for a different room. She indicated the rooms were assigned randomly and could not be changed. Consequently, we were issued a room on a low floor with a parking lot view (see photo). ||While we understood the ELARA was a Hilton vacation property and not a Hilton Hotel, we were somewhat surprised that our Hilton Diamond status was not valued. We did not feel we were valued as a guests.||Immediately after checking in, the person controlling the lines pressured us to proceed to the Time-Share desk, which should have been an optional experience, not a forced participation situation.||Upon arrival to our assigned room, we noted several concerns (temperature issue and privacy issue) and called Guest Services to see if we could change rooms. We were quickly denied. ||Thereafter, we proceeded to the reception area and indicated that we wished to have an early check-out due to a number of discrepancies. We advised that we were not having a pleasant experience so far. The representative said, "I don't care about that, just give me your Driver's License."||We were allowed to check out early without a fee and successfully checked out the next morning. However, several days later, our credit card was charged for the amount of our original reservation (three nights), not the one night we actually stayed there.||I contacted the Elara HGV about the discrepancy. The employee indicated that she would need to contact a Manager, inasmuch as an investigation must occur to determine if we actually checked out, despite the fact that we have a receipt for our stay. While I think my receipt is sufficient to reverse the charge, I suggested they take a quick review of the CCTV footage as it would resolve any concerns about my integrity. Totally humiliating!||In summary, I suggest not staying at the ELARA for the following reasons:|| 1. The arrogance of the staff is inconsistent with the Hilton model. | 2. The rooms have power-operated blinds and no curtains. If you open the blinds, you have no privacy at all. If you close the blinds, the lighting in the room is insufficient.| 3. The temperature is not easy to create a consistent temperature throughout the room (Jr. Suite).| 4. The "kitchen" area is totally inadequate, it's not really a kitchen.| 5. The bathroom has an old-school shower/tub combo, not a real shower.| 6. The room is very dated, dirty carpet, worn out couch, no desk for laptop, and not maintained well.| 7. The location is great, but many businesses in the "Miracle Mile" shopping mall have closed.| 8. If the goal of the ELARA Vacation Property is to showcase their property in hopes of selling more Timeshares, they should better align with the Hilton Culture and set a better tone at the top. | 9. Other Hilton properties on the Strip are much nicer and prioritize the guest experience and brand loyalty much higher.
The Elara is located a close indoor walk from the central part of the strip. The property is beautiful and staff is excellent. Our unit was a 2 br lockoff and was spacious. Kitchen had pretty much everything, the living area was comfortable with a great view. Beds were comfortable and unit was quiet. The Elara opened in 2009 and is connected to the miracle mile shops adjoining Planet Hollywood. You can walk from the hotel lobby to the strip all indoors. Once you exit outside you are across the street from the Bellagio, so its in a great location. There is a large Wallgreens right there on the strip and a CVS not much further. We Ubered to a Vonn's grocery store and back. Uber pickup is bottom level in the rideshare area. There are many great restaurants close by. We rented a car one day and drove to Summerlin and Red Rock Canyon - beautiful community and great scenery. Only one thing to note is that the living room furniture is showing a little wear, but was pretty comfortable. This was a great vacation and we'd love to come back to Elara.
I love the suites and the views in the upper floors. I only stayed 2 days and didn’t ask for any cleaning/tidying up service. In the past they are responsive when you need something. I’ll update when i come back but i recommend this place if you want peace and quiet or if you have a big family, the suites are great.
PS I love the bidet in the bathroom.
The resort is well-appointed and located in the center of the Las Vegas strip. Our two-bedroom suite is spacious, clean, and modern. Both bedrooms and the living room have a gorgeous view through floor-to-ceiling windows. It has all the kitchen and bathroom supplies that we need for the entire week. When these supplies run out, housekeeping quickly refills them upon a phone call. The staff is extremely helpful. We will return for another week of enjoyable vacation very soon.
This is the second time in a row that our washing machine/dryer combo did not work. We had to pull our wet clothes out and hang them around our room to dry. We went to the front desk to let them know on Tuesday. We were told they would send maintenance up to fix. By Friday, no one showed up. Other than that, we love our stay at the Elara. Great room and great view! Convenient location.
We go there every year through RCI. We stay in a 2 bedroom and it is over and above any other place that we have stayed at in Vegas. We thought the Trump was the best until we stayed here. You walk through a small mall, right into Planet Hollywood is awesome! Front desk is great .... people cleaning rooms are great , and the security guards are always very friendly. We always travel with the same couple because they are also amazed at what you get with the Elara. We went the week before the big race and the pool was closed. That was very disappointing , but we still give the place 5 stars ....
