Bayshore Motel - Motel in La Porte - 717 N Hwy 146, USA

I have stayed in this motel for three nights now and one of the employee walks around the property and harasses the room guest. He has threaten me every night I have stayed here that he is going to call the police on me for sitting on my car with the music on and smoking a cigarette. He talks down to me like I am a little child. He is very rude and aggressive with me, stating my music is too loud which it is not. It can barely be heard. He stands around me trying to control me and tell me that it’s time for me to go back in my room and go to sleep before I get arrested for having my music to loud. When I am a paying customer and the rightful owner of this establishment that you stole because I am GOD and I can come outside and smoke cigarettes when I dam well please because I am an adult and the rooms are non-smoking. So you need to mind your own business and stay out of mine when you are not even the property manager or the security officer. Worst place and management anywhere. Think twice before you stay here. The AC unit sucks and I had to go buy me a floor fan because it’s HOT and the maid wouldn’t even take out the trash like I asked her to do today.

It openly, spacious. No stairs or elevators. Animal friendly. If you have a soon to be truck driver one day... we will see trucks all day in traffic. But no smoke room at all....

Rooms are nice and updated. Bathrooms have enough space to move around. My husband works for The Union stays here quite often for a couple weeks at a time. Rates are really good. Eventhough, it's an older hotel it's really nice. The grounds keeper is very helpful if we needed anything. Service is really good!!

The white guy that works in the office is nice enough. But he needs to get rid of all these people from India that work there that are lunatics, also any other people that work there that are lunatics that try to kick the door in and scream threats/ harassment. Like these other people said, there's no privacy, my wife stayed there for a few days when she got sick out that way and didn't feel well enough to drive back to our house in Polk county. Workers work just walking in the room and there's no chain to slow them down.

Dont come here! The cleaning ladies are so rude. They are just watching everything you do, if you leave the room a little dirty they will go complain to the owner so they wont clean or do their job i guess.. they complained i left the room dirty when i made sure i picked up all the trash before i checked out. I paid 400$ a week including pet deposit and yet they still complained about my dogs leaving hairs.. if u have pets i recommend Motel 6 they dont charge for pets and they are not always after you or your pets. The owner is so rude i asked for 2 rolls of toilet paper and he just gave me one. I been getting treated bad after the cleaning ladies complained about me. No privacy at all!! I cant wait for my week to end so i can move and find another better service and management hotel. Do not come and waste your money you will regret it.

Only gets a star cause I have to put one to leave this review. It doesn't deserve one.Stayed there last night and will never stay again. 1st after reserving the room with one total he decided to change the amount to something higher even with proof of the lower cost. Dude working the front desk could care less. 2nd even with no smoking signs posted everywhere the room smelled like an ashtray. 3rd only 2 lights worked in my room. 4th at 10 am someone just walks into my room without knocking or identifying themselves. 5th the floors were nasty. After my shower I felt dirt and some sticky spots all over the floor. Pay the extra 10 bucks and stay up the road.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Do NOT stay here. They charge you one price then when you arrive they charge you more for no reason. Even with all the information provided sowing you book your room for one price tax included. As if that is not bad enough someone let themselves in to your room without knocking or announcing themselves. This was done well before checkout. This place should be closed down and investigated for money laundering.
