This place has some speciality, you will find so many bengali people's . For those who don't speak Hindi or English (bengali people's) here in every corner of the hospital a bengali person are over there for your help. All treatments are done here.

The worst hospital in the Bangalore. doctors don't know how to treat the patients. We went for cancer treatment in oncology department. The worst department and ward is also worst, in front us one healthy patient died in the hospital, because of their negligence.

Nursing staff are very lazy, not professional, special wards are not clean, lac of deep cleaning, total it's not professionally equipped.no hot water in the bathroom even in private and special wards, they don't care for insurance patients, discharge process for insurance patients it takes minimum of 2 days, simply without any reasons they delay the discharge, during the waiting period of discharge they don't care about patients medicane, extra medicine also they don't buy back or exchange, un necessarily they order extra quantity of medicine, no value of medicines in this hospital, for silly reasons they use syringe and put it in the dust bin, for wiping wound they have hand gloves and cotton in the ward, they are using waste paper or strile bandage to clean patients wound. Trainee doctors are very worst, emergency duty doctors are acting like goons, and trainee nurses and doctors will not allow you to meet senior doctors, trainee doctors are egoist.the hospital is full of bengali staff and workers, you will not find any local personals. It feels like we came to West Bengal. Don't know why only they have appointed bengali and odiya workers, very difficult to communicate with them, very irresponsible behaviour of the ground staff, doctors are good, but no use. Never ever go this hospital if you can afford to other hospital.

Not advisable at all... The doctors are good but the hospital infrastructure is pathetic. There are no clean toilets or wash basins for patients. The quality of beds are lower than any government hospitals. Even the private wards are bad. The nursing is below average. The quality of food served is below average. Hospital administration need improvement. No water available in the hospital and bathrooms are available only in basement. Lift doesn't work most of the times. Doctors and their assistants are good. Takes personal care. Being medical college attached to the hospital,. One needs to prepare for some additional tests. Nominal fees for all services is encouraging. If one planning for health check up in this hospital, one need to find out him or herself as you can't get much guidance on procedures. Overall satisfactory hospital which need improvements to become patient friendly.

Genuine Review: Let me share my experience genuinely for this hospital. Don't go to this hospital when you can afford hospital expenses outside. This may be helpful for someone who really cannot afford outside although their lives are precious too. My experience is awful and Sad with this hospital. I lost my Mother just in this hospital. Even though I could afford very well outside, just because of some other's advise and ignorance, and with all bad luck , I admitted my Mother here. I don't say All Doctors in this hospital are bad, but some are really worst. Especially Junior or student doctors. They don't know anything , they just mug up and do their research on patients, like the cosmetic researches done on Rats, unfortunately. These junior doctors are egoistic and just know how to get into arguments with attendees when questioned about something. One of the reasons why my Mother couldn't survive was, she was miss treated with wrong medication & in untimely manner by Junior doctors even though they were instructed by Senior doctor. Senior Doctor who instructed the junior Doctor never bothered about monitoring how junior Doctors were performing their duties. One day, I could myself hear Senior Doctor shouting on Junior Doctor about miss treatment for my Mother. But what's the point of yelling at them when the Patient had already lost life. They do not know how much a patient matters to their dear one's. Nurses are very reckless in this hospital. My mother was not taken care or noticed when she was completely bleeding on her bed in ICU and until she herself notified a nurse one night. My Mother struggled in this hospital's ICU for 1 week and finally lost her life. I would say, you should be fortunate to fall in safe hands of an excellent Doctor. Most of the Doctors in our Country are becoming Doctors because just they are paying crores but not because they are worth so. I would suggest not to go to Institutional based hospitals, because they treat you as research material. I am regretting and blaming myself for my whole life for just taking my Mother to this hospital. My Mother would have survived if I had taken her to some other hospital or Doctors.

Pros: Qualified doctors, cheap treatment (its a medical college, so cost of treatment is very less, be it consultation fee, or any kind of lab test), Doctors listens to you with patience. Doctors also assist in their possible ways to help a patient even if he has financial issues. Cons: Too much crowd (lots of poor patients from West Bengal), in OPD there are long queues, based on ur luck you may get junior doctors to treat (they are not bad, just that it does not give the confidence). The general ward for patients (who are staying for pending operations) has basic facilities issues, like water shortage, dirty toilets. Recently cost is slightly increased over past 2 years. But they dont give any bill/invoice for the registration cost & consultation fees.
