Nothing great about the hotel :
- next to highway, so never quiter rooms.
- very far from local market & in-house food is okish.
- room are just fine with old bathroom fittings.
- breakfast serving also delayed and no buffer option.
food was very good. rooms neat and clean. on the last night of my stay I asked for an electric kettle. I asked the person who brought the electric kettle to clean it and then place it in my room. he said that he would do so. when I went to heat water in that electric kettle I found 1) the electric kettle wasn't cleaned at all and it was emitting an offensive smell from inside.
2) the wire connection between the kettle base and the plug was emitting sparks on switching on the plug.
I was disappointed by the unprofessional behaviour of that particular staff whom I asked for the electric kettle in the evening of that day.

Hotel is good and credit goes to the staff.. especially restaurant staff are professional and courtesies Soyam and Sabitha took good care of us.. food was tasty kudos to chefs Vivek, Sidarth, Manish.. Front office staff Chandrika, Albina were also very helpful .. We do recommend this property for stay and dine.
this is one of the finest places to stay in gangtok. they are in tadong and only a 15 minutes cab ride away from mg marg. cabs are always available infront of the hotel at a price of Rs30 per person.
the hotel provides some awesome view, the rooms are comfortable and nice with all the amenities (excluding room heater), the staff are so kind and humble, and their food is really good. it's been an amazing stay with regal. and would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a 3* property.

The hotel was a last minute call from me but with the price the ambience and the management staffs it was a wonderful stay. The best part is the price bucket at which it is placed. Very economical and hygienic.The support team is very responcive and didn't let us feel any sort of discomfort. High recommended place for traveller. It's like 10min away from the main happening place MG Marg. But taxi are readily available and take hardly 20 bucks to get you to the place. Want premiumnes at a budget price Regal is a good option to choose.
