We loved our stay. It was our first time visiting Sikkim, the experience was so good. The hotel is located in a great place. One doesn't need to spend on taxi fare as the most happening places just near by. The hotel staff, manager and the owner has been so kind to us. They make sure that we are comfortable. Our stay in Sikkim was so pleasant because of the people we made in Hotel Namgyal House. Highly recommend.

It's just 5 mins walking distance from MG Marg. Location is good, Have parking facility for bikes, The owner and the manager behavior was good and the room price is also under budget.

Highly Recommend Hotel Namgyal House if you are staying in Gangtok as the location is great since MG marg Road is at a walkable distance and even the Ropeway The hotel owner and staffs are very friendly and helpful, they helped us throughout our stay in Gangtok , guiding us on famous tourist spots and how to explore them. The hotel room is very spacious, warm and cozy with very clean bathroom and comfortable beds, overall it gives out a relaxed ambience. The complimentary Breakfast was delicious We had a very amazing experience staying at this hotel. Would surely come back here

Best place to stay in Gangtok. Walkable distance from MG marg. The owner Mr. Tenzing was humble and friendly. Staff Mr.Prabir was helpful to plan our days and much supportive. Had a pleasant stay.

The hotel has a true tradition of hospitality. The service was excellent. They even provided bed tea. When we returned from North Sikkim after two days, the room was ready and our luggage(which we left with them) was already in the room. They served tea in room and did not charge extra for that. Behaviour of Praveen and other staffs was polite and helpful. But I must mention that Tenjing, the owner of the hotel is a true gentleman and exemplifies the hospitable nature of the Sikkimese people. It was a true pleasure to know him and stay in his hotel.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Gangtok with my mother for four nights, and I must say that it was an excellent experience. The hotel had a homely feel, which made our stay very comfortable. One of the most notable things about this hotel was the friendliness and helpfulness of the owners and staff. They were always available to assist us with anything we needed, and we appreciated the warm hospitality. One of the highlights of our stay was the time we spent conversing with the owners and staffs. They were always eager to sit with us and talk about different things. It was an excellent way to learn more about the local culture and the people of Gangtok. The hotel also arranged cars for our trips, which was very convenient. The staff made sure that we had everything we needed for our journey. We felt very safe and comfortable throughout our travels. The hotel also went above and beyond to accommodate us. When they found out that my mother had difficulty climbing stairs, they upgraded our room without any extra charge to a more accessible one. This gesture was greatly appreciated, and it made our stay much more comfortable. Overall, we had a fantastic experience staying at this hotel in Gangtok. The friendly and helpful staff, homely atmosphere, and excellent service were all top-notch. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Gangtok and would love to stay there again on my next trip.

Excellent stay with a very warm host and his supporting staff. Mr Tenzing went out of the way to make our stay comfortable and visit to Gangtok, a worthwhile experience. The hotel is within 5 mins walking distance to MG Marg. So location wise it is an excellent choice. However, complementary add ons in the room were very poor. Though kettle was there but no tea bags. Soap was there with no shampoos. In my next visit hopefully I will find all these with warm hospitality.

The host, Mr Tenzing, is a gem of a person and his staff Mr Prabin, Milesh and others were very helpful. The rooms were really comfortable, spacious and clean. The proximity of the hotel is close to MG Marg and other tourist spots, which saves you a lot of time. You get delicious home-cooked food with free WiFi and hot water 24hrs. A wonderful experience for me and my family. We will cherish this stay for years to come. We will definitely come again and highly recommend Hotel Namgyal House to others.
