Recently Istayed in this hotel with my friends we were three persons....We didn't do any pre booking but we got very nice room ....booked a suite room.. and the room was in ground floor attached with the reception..... it was a very nice stay..... It was a spacious place with two rooms including a bed and a sofa bed and the interior was very royal. Breakfast was complimentary and food was yummy.... Thank u so much The Howrah Hotel for your hospitality. We will surely visit again

I belong to Maharashtra i travel bhuvaneshwar pune kolkata with my family i book 2 roo the cost is low service is up to mark only concern is there restaurant they not work prountly for deaner they take order but food provided after one hour otherwise overall is good

Myself availed room in room no. 213. The behaviour of reception staff and hotel cuisine was brilliant and with great hospitality and security. I am personally highly satisfied with this hotel management and safety arrangements. The food in The Courtyard of this hotel was nice and hygienic and the staff gave us utmost hospitality and services

Disappointing Experience in Heritage Looking Hotel At first glance, the hotel appeared to be a charming heritage property. However, my experience at this establishment left much to be desired. I feel compelled to share my honest feedback about my stay. While the hotel's entrance seemed inviting and well-maintained, it unfortunately did not accurately reflect the overall condition of the property. The location of the hotel was in a rather filthy area, which was quite disappointing and not what I had expected. The in-house restaurant, although satisfactory, failed to compensate for the shortcomings I encountered during my stay. The prices of the rooms, in my opinion, were exorbitant for the quality provided. I was disheartened to discover that the rates did not match the overall value offered. One of the most significant issues I encountered during my stay was the cleanliness of the facilities, particularly the toilets. They resembled those found in cheap lodges or motels, lacking the cleanliness and hygiene one would expect from a reputable hotel. This left me feeling quite uncomfortable and dissatisfied. Furthermore, I was taken aback by the unpleasant odor emanating from the sheets in my room. The smelly sheets made it challenging to get a good sleep and added to the overall disappointment of my stay. Despite its appealing heritage look from the outside, this hotel failed to deliver on its promises. While the entrance and the in-house restaurant showed some effort, the high prices, filthy toilets, and unpleasant odors in the rooms were significant drawbacks. I sincerely hope that the management takes these concerns into consideration and makes the necessary improvements to provide a more pleasant experience for future guests. As a business traveller, my dislikes were primarily overall cleanliness, esp. toilet and value for money.

I have been staying in this hotel for the last 26 years for business and bring my family alongwith me every 2-3 years. It is a great place and has improved features, strictly family hotel - I have seem them politely refusing Guests if they do not seem proper. Very organised in their Check-in procedure, and what the heck man ! I feel safe here because their documentation is proper. Some of their highlight: Free Wi-Fi Complimentary breakfast (only hotel in this area) to give everyone; Room Service Laundry have a beautiful and quite garden to walk around daily housekeeping Contemporary as well as Modern rooms for different type of travellers to suit their budget. I have this feeling that most of the reviews are wrong and manipulated and no such blunders and irregularity can be seen there ! and believe you me 26 years is a long time to be able to judge right from wrong. Keep up the good work Howrah Hotel !!

A very nice and well preserved heritage hotel..only requires little bit of make over to comply with modern needs and look..can stay here if you are in howrah for work and looking some decent place to stay..reasonable price with good facelities..and in compliment you get the view of howrah bridge from your window..

This hotel is one of the poorest service hotel in india. They treat customer like some kind of alien. They always look for cash they don't wanna show GST. They took more than 1hour checkin time. They promised they will provide various thing in the beginning but once we paid the amount they just ignored our services are no longer available. Please find hotel using Oyo don't waste lots of money with poor experience. Go for some different hotel. Don't go for this After all of this the So called Owner will write "FAKE REVIEW" There are plenty of people concerned about the same thing which is poor experience in "THE HOWRAH HOTEL".

Near from howrah station. Many types of room. Upi and card payment also accept. Room and service good. Good security. Food available. Complimentary breakfast also. 24 hrs check out time.. Family hotel. Also in budget. Overall good.
