The Divine Oak - Hotel in Katra - Reasi, India

I had booked the Hotel nearly 3 months in advance with an expectation that since this is an early booking I would get best room of the Hotel however its sad to see that out of 3 rooms booked none of them were meeting expectations. We were given rooms with nil ventilation. Also though the outer visibility of the hotel entry seems decent however the rooms are too small to fit in the regular amount of your luggage. Hardly there is a space for movement. Also I found hygiene issues in the hotel the trash was not picked up daily I had to demand for my basic requirements like soap and towels. I won't recommend this Hotel for your stay especially when you want to spend time with your family. Other hotels are providing superior service with low prices. Not recommended.......

Very good service provided by the hotel staff very polite and humble. they even assisted me in case of emergency when my train got cancelled.the owner of the hotel is very helpful nature.over all great stay thanks

Booked two rooms by contacting the hotel itself. Got a mountain view room which was very spacious. The rooms were comfortable and stay was great. Hotel staff was very polite and courteous. Had a pleasant stay at the property thanks divine oak staff

Disappointing Experience - Unmet Room Reservation Agreement I regret to express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your establishment. Unfortunately, it appears that the agreed-upon terms for our reservation were not honored. We had originally finalized a reservation for a family room (with 2 double beds) for a duration of 5-6 hours, starting at 8 am on day 1. Additionally, I had requested to check in at 8 pm on day 2 and check out by 7 pm on day 3, which was confirmed by you. While I was informed that the family room might not be available by 8 am, you assured me that it would certainly be ready by 9-9:30 am, to which I agreed. All of these arrangements were agreed upon for a total cost of Rs. 5200, and I made an advance payment of Rs. 1000 one week before the trip. However, upon my arrival, I was informed that the family room was not available at that time and it would be available by 12pm. Instead, I was provided with a double bed room without any prior notice or alternative arrangements. Given the circumstances, I felt compelled to accept the double bed room. I checked in at 9 am and had to check out by 12 pm, which was different from the 2 pm check-out time that I had initially requested during my booking. When I approached you for a deduction/discount in the room rate, considering that I had been given a double bed room instead of the family room we had agreed upon, you declined my request without any room for negotiation. Even when I proposed a deduction of only Rs. 200, it was met with a refusal. This experience was disheartening, as it left me feeling that the terms of our reservation were not upheld as promised.

It's a really good hotel. Rooms are quite good for the price you pay. We visited here early at 6am while our booking was from 12. They gave us a spare room to fresh up and start to the bhavan. By the time we returned, they moved our luggage to our room and had the AC on. It's a really nice gesture.

Overall experience was poor. There were no towels, dirty glasses, ac doesn't work. They don't even pick calls for room service. Parking space is bad. Television doesn't work. Wifi was nice and near bus stand location. Overall experience was 2/10 rating.

Nice stay for Katra. 24 Hours Geyser in room. AC is started at anytime when you ask for it they never said no for AC. Service is also awesome and staff is very cooperative specially very helpful for the kids parent who need to make milk on gas and ceralac water everything. I went here with my 11 months old daughter.

I had a disappointing experience at this hotel. Despite requesting them to clean my room before I left for Yatra, it remained uncleaned. The room lacked basic amenities like an intercom and a cupboard. Adding to the dissatisfaction, the receptionist named "Sunil" displayed rude behavior when I inquired about the cleanliness issue. The staff seemed to lack professionalism and basic etiquette. Please avoid this hotel and you can easily book any other good hotel in this price range.
