The Arbour Inn - Hotel in Shillong, Mawdiangdiang - East Khasi Hills, India

I stayed here for Three days and I can say that I am going to cherish this stay for a long time. Hospitality:100/10 Cleanliness:100/10 Food:100000/10 .It's amazing how food served can taste like homemade and 5 star as well. The hosts were wonderful. I recommend everyone to stay here when you visit Shillong because you are in for an awesome time. I would really like to thank every member of the Arbour inn from the staff who made my stay there this memorable. Hope to visit you guys in the future again.

We stayed in the hotel for 2 nights. The room and the bathroom was clean and well kept. The service was also good. The only disadvantage is the food for vegetarians. They gave us fried deckers, potato fingers and potato shots with bread for breakfast. Not used to eating fried food early in the morning. Also the Inn is a bit far away from the town, so we had to travel quite a distance to get good food. A decent place to stay for a few days in Shillong.

We stayed for 2 days, had amazing stay there. Owners and staff are really friendly and welcoming. Spacious rooms and food.. OMG the food was something out of the world. I have had this kind of taste at very few places where the food feels homely, tasty and 5 star level at the same time. Kudos to everyone involved

It was a lovely stay at the property. The rooms were spotless clean and the food provided was amazing. Special mention to the lovely dinner that the owner delivered to our rooms herself. The staff at the property are very welcoming and always eager to serve their guests. special mention to Sasha at the reception, who leaves no stone unturned to make guests feel at home. My vacation went really really well and soothing. The ambience with their hospitality services were very satisfactory. Meals are provided as per request. Toiletries are provided with good skincare. Also, i loved how the staff managed to provide small brunches ready late at night. Thank u so so much for making our vacation so good. Arbour inn was a fantastic guest house. The rooms were clean n spacious. The food was amazing as well. I visited the place as a couple during my stay n despite having some difficulties the management was very helpful n they were always ready to compromise n make my stay as memorable as possible. I would highly recommend any visitors to stay at the Arbour inn. I can honestly say that Arbour inn will make any trip to shillong more amazing!!

Good property and facilities. Staff needs to be more polite. I did not want to write huge review as I gave personal feedback at the time of checkout to member. Seems staff has not discussed internally and replied bit unprofessionally. They should do retrospect internally. We arrived as group of strangers from same agent and your staff was aware at the time of check-in. This review was from personal experience not from the group. There is no platform in this world which works 100% perfect and hotel people would know much better than customer. When we arrived, we were told that payment is made just 10 mins before by the agent. It means when we landed booking would have authenticated and we were allotted the rooms. There was no discussion with us at the reception about any pending payment. Still, we heard complain from your staff about the agent and their delays. We were also told that same agent has done some mess in the past also. We, being customer, heard. Please stop working with such agents and don't talk to customers about your internal issues. My review was based on the experience post this situation. After check-in process, I tried to have conversion with your staff and complimented about the condition of the property. Response was very cold and I personally felt 'unwelcomed' to the hotel. Regarding your concern about the other 3 ladies. I personally did not participated in the discussion. Also when there was some noise, I came out of my room sensing some issue, but found it was some loud discussion between owner and other 3 ladies. I went back to my room. What your offered to them is up to you. If you found some other person discussing with your staff in different tone, take it to the person and not on me. There was no negative comment or feedback from my end in the original review. None of my comment was derogatory to you or your staff - be it in person or here online. I do not have to read reviews of your hotel online, those can be bought. I will share what I personally felt and experienced. In my small sentence, I mentioned the word 'more' (more polite). Hope we understand that their is possibility of improvements always and we must take it in. I gave my feedback of 2 critical points to your staff, which made me put the original feedback. Hope you will talk internally with your staff and find out.
