Where to start! The ambience is very good and nice ! But the good price and quantity is worst! I ordered noodle soup and paid around 300 rs but it hardly had 5-6 tablespoons of broth and a strand of noodle ... no value for money! If you don't mind eating less and paying more, then go to this insta worthy cafe
Chilly paneer spicy was the best dish if you don't try anything else it's fine but definitely try this dish. The paneer here melts as soon as you eat a bite. Apart fom this we had Mac and cheese pasta and pizza both were average.
We went to Tea Villa Jayanagar for dinner on a weekday. It was not very crowded and service was quick. Their cheesy nachos was really tasty and I would recommend it. Their Chinese Bhel was also good and the quantity was good. Their Hazelnut Hot Chocolate could have had a thicker consistency. It was very sweet and did not taste like cocoa. Their main course portion sizes was a little disappointing. However, their tomato and cream spaghetti was really tasty and so was their burnt garlic fried rice. We however, did not enjoy their Nutella waffles as much. The ice cream with the waffles did not taste that good and felt a bit stale.
Good food but expensive. Quality of food is good. Service could have been better. Pure veg place.
Cutlery and atmosphere was old, it was damaged here and there. Sofa was very dirty.
Washroom was maintained neat and clean. Lift facility is there.
Outside seating area on 1st floor with the view of Jayanagar park.
Decent place to have food, would suggest it's nice to sit and chit chat. Food was good enough but not worth the price, pizza was way too thin only with a lot of cheese. Very accessible and ample parking is available. Best part is it is a pure veg place. Service was okayish.
Situated on Jayanagar main road, the Tea Villa Cafe stands out with its distinctive name, a pink-hued building, and an entrance that deviates from the norm. Unusual for a cafe, it features a closed door reminiscent of fine dining. Inside, a tea bar counter and cashier greet you, adding an unexpected touch. The first floor exudes a formal restaurant atmosphere with somewhat uninspiring decor, but the redeeming feature lies in the balcony seating. Specializing in vegetarian cuisine, the menu is notably restricted, although they boast an impressive tea selection. Unfortunately, the staff's training leaves room for improvement, impacting the overall dining experience.
A Vegetarian cafe which serves a variety of cuisines which includes Indian, Italian, Continental, Chinese etc. The ambience is quite good and warm.
The staff is is welcoming and swift. They don't have enough seating to accommodate multiple large groups. If there are 3 groups of 8 or more people, then getting place will he hard. The ambience set up is perfect for dates. Staff was very friendly except for one person when was there.
The food is really good. Loved the Lotus root starter. Its a must try from my perspective.
Waffles were really tasty. I had Kung Pao Paneer starter where in they mentioned it to be crispy paneer but that was not the case. However taste was good). Burnt Garlic noodles was really good. Schezwan Fried rice and Handi Biryani were a bit on the average side. The Mocha cold coffee and other drinks which my companions had were really good from their experience. Definitely worth trying out some veggie options here.
They don't have dedicated parking space. So finding parking during the weekends might become an hassle.
All in all its 8.5/10 for me.
Price is slightly on the expensive side but I think its worth it. On an average you might be spending around 600-800 per head for a decent meal.
The ambience of course is amazing. And we just wanted to sit and talk with some fancy tea. So this was the perfect venue for us. Their hibiscus tea and zafrani chai is amazing. The assorted fries basket was a little disappointing especially with the zucchini fries. The "make your own waffle" dark chocolate waffle was too good.
