Great structure and well maintained place Tata group, drinking water and rest spot in every 200 metres. Wildlife is also good you can bring your children here to show them various types of animals and birds or pickin time with family. Entry fee is very nominal Rs30/- per adult and if you're in group of 10 then Rs5/- each will be discounted.

Zoos typically house a wide variety of animals, including: Mammals: This category includes animals like lions, tigers, elephants, giraffes, chimpanzees, pandas, and many more. Birds: Zoos often have various species of birds, from parrots and eagles to penguins and flamingos. Reptiles: You can find snakes, turtles, lizards, and crocodiles in many zoos. Amphibians: Frogs, toads, and salamanders are commonly displayed in amphibian exhibits. Fish: Some zoos have large aquariums with diverse aquatic life, including fish, sharks, and rays. A zoological park, also known as a zoo, is a facility where a wide variety of animals are kept for public display, education, conservation, and research purposes. Zoos provide an opportunity for people to learn about and connect with animals from around the world while also contributing to conservation efforts for endangered species. These parks often have carefully designed enclosures to mimic natural habitats and provide the animals with a comfortable and enriching environment. The safety and well-being of animals in zoological parks (zoos) depend on various factors, including the zoo's commitment to animal welfare, the quality of care provided, and adherence to relevant laws and regulations. Many reputable zoos prioritize the safety and welfare of their animals by: Providing appropriate enclosures: Zoos aim to create environments that mimic the animals' natural habitats as closely as possible, offering space, shelter, and enrichment. Offering proper nutrition and healthcare: Zoos have veterinarians and animal care specialists who ensure animals receive appropriate diets, medical care, and attention to their physical and psychological needs. Engaging in conservation efforts: Many zoos participate in breeding programs for endangered species and support conservation initiatives to protect animals in the wild. Educating the public: Zoos play a crucial role in educating visitors about the importance of wildlife conservation and the challenges facing animals in the wild. Complying with regulations: Zoos are subject to local, national, and international laws and regulations that govern the care and treatment of animals.

At Tata Steel Zoological Park, I had an exhilarating visit, surrounded by lush greenery. Tigers, deer, crocodiles, monkeys and birds offered an unforgettable experience. Zoo can be easily located it's beside the main road.Parking is available. The lion, Royal Bengal tiger, and panther are the only animals at the zoo.It offers an electric car for senior persons who are unable to walk. The zoo requires extensive maintenance, and heavy vehicles and dust pollution are a result of construction activities. The most important thing lacking is a CCTV security camera, as well as a lost and found option. It's a huge tourist destination, and the toilets are in disrepair; they need to be cleaned every hour, and there's a major hygiene issue; one can't breathe and there's no light.

Located inside Jubilee Park one of the most attractive places of Jamshedpur, Tata Steel Zoological Park is the best gift from Tata to the society. As Jamshedpur is a leased area where we are only dependent on Tata to have some good places where we can visit with our family, relatives and friends. Tata is doing great by providing every possible facilities like park, picnic spot, open gym, forest trail, etc, to the society. This Zoological park is also a great place to have a wonderful experience of the different breeds of animals. Hyna, Zebra, Sambhar, Alligator, Bear, Lion, Tiger and many more animals are present here which can be seen with a nominal entry charge. Recently the entry of the park has been shifted from Marine Drive just near XLRI college with ample space of parking. And right now some portions of the park are under construction so you might not be able to enjoy everything so you can wait till dec 23. After the renovation is completed this will again restart. One of the must visit places with family and friends in Jamshedpur.

An adult entry ticket is Rs.30/- The Restroom facility is available and well-maintained. A canteen is inside the zoo but it needs improvement. Carry a water bottle and umbrella with you. You need to walk a lot, so wear comfortable shoes. Lions, tigers, peacocks, white deer, hippopotamus, zebra, and fishes are there. The electric vehicle is available for tour with Rs.50 per head or Rs.350 per vehicle.

You can literally visit and watch all the main animals in like 30 mins if you want to watch love stories you can stay for more its on you. Ill advice not to take the rented vehicles for the zoo because its not worth it and expensive too.
