being member of Sterling for 30 years was a great experience until you started discouraging your oldest members and enforcing them into buying new membership for no value added reason or leverage.
I am sad to hear that our holiday booking for 4 months are restricted to only 1 which was never been the case before. Moreover, I could see that major location like Goa 1 BHK are filled for 5 months continuously with no gap.. Strange!
It looks like that long term association with Sterling is going into vain.
Pathetic service. After being a customer for over 30 years they treat us as 3rd class citizen's. Their service used be way better 10 years back but now its horrible. Do not take their membership. It is a scam.
Please DONOT go ahead with Sterling Holidays. Lost my hard earned money. Experience is extremely bad. Please ever never invest in Sterling holidays membership program.
Sterling Holidays clearly stands as one of the worst customer service company with professionally trained conman, recruited as sales persons. I had purchased 770 point membership from Mr. Samson of their Bangalore sales office during the covid times when he pleaded to buy the membership as their sales are low and he can offer good discount. He assured to pass on discounts as referral benefits and convinced me not to pay the complete amount upfront but convert 30% portion on EMI so that he can pass on the referral benefits during the EMI period of 6 months. He assured that EMI will not start till he adjust the discounts on my account. Months passed but no EMI started even after my EMI approval through automated NACH system. He did not adjust any discount in 6 months and silently disappeared. I reached to customer service team and relationship managers but both were reluctant to address the issue even after seeing the messages/chat with their sales person. The fact that no EMIs were deducted and no one called me to confirm the prices/service (as promised by Samson, the sales guy) indicated that this is Sterling standard sales process to con the new members and get them enrolled, later the customer has no choice. I am regularly calling their customer care, complaint emails but they are deaf.
Don't believe any of the sales promises from Sterling team, I paid over 2.5 lac and still struggling to use my membership benefits after 1 year. This is one of the worst hospitality industry experience I had!!
Worst customer service ever had...! 1st try to talk with the customers in professional way.! We are not you slaves and you havnt given us the membership free.. we paid 50,000/- for this bloody membership and youare treatinh us as a begger what do u think of it MR.?
Im talking about branch of kammanahali where we were treated as begger..! Do u think its the way to treat you customers who have taken you bloody membership with cost of 50k..!
Try to improve your service
I purchased the purple studio membership in June 2018 and later changed to the Red Studio as I was not satisfied with the services after my first holiday.
Later in April 2019, I cleared the entire amount and cancelled my EMI option.
But until now my account has not updated and I am in touch with customer care since then. Really fed up and every time they say need a couple of days. It's already 6 months and they are still making me call them and enquire every time.
Really, I don't know how being one of the reputed Company can be like this. Indeed, I lost many privileges promised by the representative during the booking of my membership. All promised offers were cancelled because I changed my membership from purple to Red. Also, the representative who promised me the offers had left the company long back only and hence they say we don't have any proof.
As, I did not get any response from the customer care I am writing this on social media and Mouthshut, expecting then at least Sterling will do what I need at the earliest.

had attended sterling holiday promotional campaign as we had bought some furniture and were promised a 3 nights stay, as we were the winners of a contest. they called us on phone and promised that we will get a free package to bandipur and if we like it we can take membership.
however when we went their they took almost one and half hour and wasted my family time. they insisted that we have to pay 5 lakhs immediately for a discounted annual package , when we asked about the bandipur package for winning the contest, they told we will get coupon on email.
it is more than six months now, no free package , no winners of any contest, they just fooled us and trapped us.
