Visited this place for a friend's birthday lunch recently. Instantly liked the atmosphere and ambience of the restaurant. The live music makes it so much better. The service was great especially thankful to the musician for the birthday song. The only improvements that need to be made would be the food, some of the veg items that we ordered weren't upto the mark, besides that it is a good restaurant in my opinion with a lot of potential.
Been to this Restaurant twice. Ordered Kingfish Thali one time and Chicken Thali the other. The Kingfish Thali was pathetic. The curry tasted different and most importantly the Kingfish Fry was a mood spoiler. The cut of the Kingfish was bad. And it was full of bones, they used a piece from the Head and cut the kingfish diagonally. Basically had lots of bones and very little bit. Nearly every bite I ended up taking in a bone piece. They need to learn what kind of cuts needs to be used for a Kingfish Thali. The Chicken Thali was alright. Used thick batter on the Chicken Rawa Fry. Thus it was very oily. The ambience of this place is lovely though. Place is cozy and the service was good too. Just had one issue on one visit where the waiter didn't even come to me eventhough the place was near empty. Old review: Ordered a Chicken Biryani online. The quantity offer was good with chunky pieces of Chicken. The biryani taste was okay. The rice was more like pulao but. Taste was okay.
According to our experience, Soi's claim of offering "Local Goan food" seems to fall short. The fish and squid lacked flavor, as if little attention was given to their preparation. However, the prawns were decent and not a disappointment. It would be great if you could enhance the authenticity of your dishes, considering you promote them as local Goan delicacies. Additionally, some improvements in lighting and hygiene for the place would be beneficial. Please take this feedback as constructive criticism aimed at helping you strive for excellence rather than as negative criticism.
The ambience was good with Goan music and vibe. Staff was very polite and helpful however I am so disappointed by the food here. The price is reasonable but again they should focus on taste and quality of the food.
Goan vibes for the win! Soi means grated coconut and that's where the essence of Goa lies. This place is beautifully decorated and aesthetic. Food is good although I've tasted better. Nice service. Bar looks good
We visited this colourful Goan restaurant last week for dinner. It was weekend, yet barely few tables were occupied and we got a comfortable place to sit immediately. We started off with the Caldo Verde soup which proved to be a lovely beginning to the evening. The soup contained potato and spinach, minimal spices and tasted divine. In contrast, the Veg Cafreal and Xacuti were super spicy but tasted well with the various breads and Bhakri. The mixed fodi basket was not bad too. Finally, to tone down all the spiciness, we called for the Serradurra which, with its apt sweetness and soft texture acted as the perfect end to this meal. The ambience and service both were quite good. One can get many photo options in this place - it's colourful walls, the traditional lamps, vessels, masalas on display, the antique scooter...and so much more. The food pricing is also not high. Must visit.
We visited Soi recently for a weekend lunch and it was a great experience. We tried their Paneer Masala, Veg Cafreal, Gobi Manchurian dry... everything was yummy and delicious I would recommend everyone to visit Soi * Reserve your tables to avoid waiting.
Fish thali here is awesome! Veg dishes as well are relishing. Staff is prompt in serving and friendly too! The ambience is a traditional Goan home like vibe. With all traditional utensils of older times on display. Overall a must visit
A small restaurant near dona Pola view point. It is famous for authentic Goan food. We ordered butter garlic squids 10/10, prawns masala 10/10 and then the huge thali. This was yumm. This is a must visit place if you are nearby.

Beautiful apartments. Loved the decor. Clean place. Quick service and friendly staff. We threw a birthday party on the terrace which had the most amazing view. Two jacuzzis and a garden space was more than enough for the guests to relax and enough.

We loved how hospitable the property owners are. We just felt at home, had a great view of the sea from our room, had the best possible buffet breakfast with calm music every morning. I wish to have stayed longer in this really lovely home like stay.
