Science Centre - Museum in Port Blair - South Andamans, India

Science Center in Port Blair is an amazing place to visit with fascinating exhibits and interactive displays. It's a must-see destination for science enthusiasts of all ages.

Small but good for young children to learn about science. There are several instruments, models, charts, cells, the solar system, reflection, refraction, sound, and pictorial representations of diverse types of flora and fauna found in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The garden is well-kept. Beautiful location in Port Blair, surrounded by nature's best gifts of greens and with magnificent ocean view on the other side. With an almost 180-degree view of the sea, the view is breathtaking.

Good place to see with kids. The entry fee is Rs. 10.00 per person. There is a 3D film shown in the Science Centre. The cost of ticket is Rs. 20.00 per person. The show ticket, you will get the inside of the centre. The show is nice and the duration is 15 minutes. When the seat full, they start the show. So no need to worry for that show. Apart from this, u will see many science projects in this centre. Nearest point to this centre is Flag Point. U must see this place. Overall a good experience.

Though some of the equipment are not working, the place is good for igniting science spirit in young minds. Must visit if you stay in A&N. You will learn a lot about Andaman and Nicobar from the centre. Must try all the science models and caves.

Nice to visit Science Centre. Small but educative projects are here, school students will enjoy learning. Also the Science centre is updated as I found the vital details of Chandrayan-3 also updated in display. Nice place for educational tour.

Not well maintained. Need some renovations and staff should be interactive so that people come here and see the magic of science. No too crowded. Tickets were Rs 10 for adult and Rs 05 for child. And Rs 15 extra if you want to take photos

A good place to explore science, especially for young children's. Plenty of instruments, models, charts are available on various topics such as cells, solar system, reflection, refraction, sound, pictographical representation of various kinds of flora and fauna available in Andaman and Nicobar Islands is also shown, infinity well, train and mirror etc is there.The entry fee is just 10Rs. per person. Some equipments needs to be repaired and renovated. View is actually good, the 3D show is one of the major attraction here, you have got a quiz booth and many devices for information. Biodata of various scientists are present, this place is full of information and adds upto knowledge, worth visiting especially for kids. Garden is well maintained.

Well, this place is not managed well. Although children can enjoy. A nice sea plane is also there. The outdoor exhibits are the best things. Do enjoy the sound tricks.
