Visited the hopeless, inapproachable gastroenterologist today at Sahasra hospital, Kanakapura rd. No doubt, he fits the beggarly facade of the hospital. He didn't even tell me what caused bloating and abdominal ache especially when I ate something. he was least interested in looking at our reports also. I had a few questions, but didn't ask seeing his indifferent, unfriendly attitude. I don't understand what MBBS is teaching doctors of these days. Many have praised dr.srikant. Observe carefully, all the praises are from people who have undergone surgery shelling down good hefty amount.

My name is Souvik Majumdar. My mother had a big cyst in the right lobe of her liver. We had consulted Gastro doctors at Narayana. MRI and Ultrasound scans confirmed the presence. She was in pain and could not even lift the right hand. No further treatment was suggested by any of the other doctors. I approached Dr Srikanth at Sahasra Hospital for an expert opinion on this. Upon agreement with my mom, he performed a laproscopic surgery to remove the cyst. Post surgery my mom was in hospital for 2 days. She does not feel the pain anymore and can easily lift her hand. It was a very satisfying experience for her. The facility/ room for patients was being cleaned on a regular basis, the nursing staff was very polite and available whenever needed, the administration staff provided all the necessary paperwork on time for insurance purposes. I had severe stomach pain , after the CT scan I was diagnosed with appendicitis , radiologist said since the size of appendix is large , it can rupture at any point of time, so better get operated immediately to avoid other complication if it ruptures .
