Sagar Ratna - South Indian restaurant in Chandigarh - Chandigarh, India

I recently dined at Sagart Ratna in Elante Mall, and it was a delightful experience. The restaurant not only impressed me with its delectable cuisine but also with their exceptional service. The staff was attentive and courteous throughout my meal, making me feel welcomed. The food at Sagart Ratna was truly outstanding. From their flavorful curries to the perfectly cooked naan, every dish was a culinary delight. The flavors were authentic, and the portions were generous. I particularly enjoyed their paneer tikka and butter chicken. Overall, Sagart Ratna at Elante Mall is a fantastic dining choice if you're looking for a combination of great food and impeccable service. I'll definitely be returning for more culinary adventures.

Before Covid i had fried their South Indian thali which was really good. Now it's just a brand name and no tasty curry. Why don't they have hand wash ? First thing someone would like to do before eating is washing their hands and they don't even have 1 wash basin for customers, we had to go to mall's restroom to wash hands.

The one and only place outside south india I love to have my South Indian delicacies ! A perfect family place for dinning out with your loved ones ! They offer the best if not the very best version of rawa dosas ! Highly recommend and my favourites ! Along with dosas u do have other food items like idli , uttapam , vada and other North Indian delicacies which are way to familiar to all of us now ! The south india Thali can also be tried ! But I really don't have them ! The filter coffee is one of the best here ! Do try a cup for all the coffee aficionados! Me being a tea person but I highly recommend the filter coffee version of our South Indian coffee . Finally the price point here is quite budget friendly we had ordered for a family of 5 adults plus 2 kids ! We got bill of around 250 per head ! So quite reasonable ! And the quality of food was Do try the meetha pan once u leave the counter !

Sagar Ratna is a well-established name and there are no second thoughts about ordering something from this place. On Raksha Bandhan, we visited Elante Mall for Shopping and after roaming in Mall for 5 hours we got hungry and visited Food Court on the top floor. There Sagar Ratna is our 1st choice and we ordered Chole Bhature, Masala Dosa and Veg Thali. As Usual, everything was delicious. In veg Thali, Dal Makhani was okay okay, but on the other hand, Shahi paneer was too good to miss out on. Masala Dosa was crunchy and with chutney and Sambar a whole another level dish. Chole Bhature were good too, but chole taste can be done better. Sagar Ratna is one of the best options available at the Food Court of Elante Mall that one can try with Family and friends.

True south Indian authentic food and also has options for north Indian as well.

Great place not the same taste as Sagar ratna sector 17. But it's been years since I had it at sector 17. Punjabi Kulcha was with channa was very yummy. I tried Mysore masala dosa and yes it's has pepper paste so it's slightly hot. Green chutney is more like a Pudina chutney. I have no idea why the masala had tomatoes. Not a fan of pepper ghee roast plain dosa

Located in foodcourt (3rd floor) of elante mall in front of KFC. The foods served here are good in taste. The presentation of staffs was good. Having ample space for conducting small parties. Usually crowded after 9pm. Good place for South Indian foods.

They have increased the prices to next level and the quality is being reduced. If I will talk about taste it was also not as good as before. Yesterday only I went there I ordered South Indian Thali. Before the quantity was that much that 2 people were able to enjoy easily but now they have reduced quality to greater extent. Just a suggestion to sagar ratna, do one thing at a time either increase the prices or reduce the quality. Don't do two things together at same time because as a customer I really felt cheated.
