This place known as Russi Modi Centre of Excellence. This name gave to this place for memory and respect of Late. Russi Modi who was the chairman & Managing director of the TATA STEEL. This place situated at the heart of JAMSHEDPUR (Jharkhand) at Circuit house area. Which is surrounded from one side by one of the largest Park or Garden named Jubilee park, another side is TATA STEEL ZEOLOGICAL PARK, beside the center one of the top 5 management college in india which is XLRI, Jamshedpur. The center has also an Auditorium which has probably seating capacity of around 150 people with good sound ambience and stage enough for the function or meeting. All around campus of the Center for Excellence is well maintained and neat & clean campus. You can also find here a museum which is about the history of TATA group. Greenery and beauty of the campus is fantastic. All the housekeeping staff takes care very nicely of the campus. The way to reach here are so many. You can reach here from SAKCHI which is a main market of Jamshedpur via Jubilee park road and also you can reach from bistupur also a main center of city to center for excellence.

You set up an art of excellence center for everyone to see, learn, understand and get inspired. This is what you get to see here. An excellent place Maintened by the Tata Steel.. It been maintained very neatly and beautifully, loved yo visit over and again . There they have the art gallery and museums.

Tata Steel has built it to showcase it's excellence journey from it's starting times. There is an auditorium , TS archives and sculptures with modern architectural forms.

Adorned with master architecture and beautiful art collection, this place is a treat to visit. Paintings by MF Hussain and great work by other eminent personalities of the art world. RK Laxman has contributed to this. The great history of the legends of the TATA family and their ancestry is put out in detail. Did you know JRD Tata founded IISc Bangalore? All about steel. The beautiful galleries and the pyramid structure. The views and spacing. This is a coveted place for capturing this beautiful towns times. I spent hours at this place. It was a very enriching experience.

Can anyone say as to why is this closed now. I would love to know the history of my birth place and the Tata group. I was denied entry to this place
