Embark on an enchanting journey through Kashmir with Abdul, an exceptional guide whose captivating storytelling and in-depth knowledge of the local culture will transform your trip into an extraordinary experience. Our comprehensive nine-day tour under his guidance covered Kashmir's highlights, including the bustling streets of Srinagar, the serene beauty of Pahalgam, the snowy landscapes of Gulmarg, and the majestic Sonamarg. Abdul's expertise in conducting walking tours and hikes provided intimate insights into the local life and traditions. His humor, warmth, and passion for Kashmir's arts, crafts, food, and history are incredibly engaging, promising not just a trip but a truly immersive cultural experience that deepens your appreciation for this stunning region. Abdul's commitment to our comfort was evident in his arrangement of excellent accommodations and smooth transportation. He enriched our journey with diverse cultural experiences, like a heartfelt visit to a local family, showcasing their warmth and generosity. A memorable moment was tasting the freshly baked local bread, a delightful immersion into Kashmir's culinary heritage. Additionally, Abdul ensured our safety and security, allowing us to explore Kashmir's mesmerizing beauty with ease. Adding to our rich experience, Abdul's brother Rashid guided us through Srinagar for a day. Rashid's tour included the revered Shankaracharya Temple and the exquisite Mughal Gardens, enhancing our understanding of the region's historical and spiritual significance. Rashid's knowledge and hospitality perfectly complemented Abdul's, making our entire journey a harmonious blend of adventure, culture, and comfort. Together, they didn't just show us Kashmir; they helped us connect with its soul, leaving us with enduring memories and a profound connection to this captivating land.

A special day in Srinagar We took service of Abdulbhai for the walking tour named 'Shaher E Khaas'. It was one of the most memorable decision we made during our trip to Kashmir. His knowledge about the history of the city and Kashmir is awesome. In our family We all are history buffs. We enjoyed each and every moment of our walk. Every bridge, the people we met during the tour, Jhelum river, chinar trees and obviously Abdulbhai's commentary. It was a wholesome experience. We recommend this walking tour if anyone is visiting Srinagar.

I visited srinagar on the pretext of a Himalayan trek. But apart from the wonderful sceneries and landcapes of the mountains, I wanted to explore the city and local culture, heritage, lifestyle and it was important to me to go much beyond the tourist places. After trying to research about walking tours online, I happened to find out about Mr. Abdul Zandari based on lots and lots of google reviews and other websites. I had a walking tour with Abdulji for 2 days. Day 1 included visiting artisans of nakash work and sozni embroidery along with some monuments and sufi shrines. Day 2 was about Downtown, the ancient wooden bridges across the Jhelum river, lots of amazing shrines and monuments, wooden workshop, paper mache workshop and lots and lots of residential streets and gullies. Abdulji is extremely proud of his roots and heritage and he leaves no stone unturned in sharing all his knowledge to anyone who is interested in it. Even though it involves lots and lots of walking (anyhwere betwen 12-18kms a day or may be you can work out what you would particularly like to see), if you are up for it, then you can't ask for any better way to see srinagar..It was an experience of a lifetime - right from walking through the most ancient beautiful streets, to interacting with the locals, having local snacks and to top it all, having Abdulji's infectious vibrant energy and always radiating happiness and joy to his clients. I strongly recommend him and his excellent services to anyone who wants to get the true essence of Srinagar and Kashmir in general. He is very honest in serving his clients in the best way possible and is devoid of any marketing of products. It's to do with imparting only knowledge of the land. Do give it a shot, you will be far from disappointed.

If you want to see real Srinagar that has nothing to with tourist areas like Dal lake then do yourself a favour and take a walking tour with Abdul. He would take you into the heart of the old city of Srinagar and passionately tell you about the history and the culture of region while making you walk through the lanes filled with real people of Srinagar like bread makers, coppersmiths, master wood carvers, perfume makers and butchers (None of these places are tourist traps and no one tried to sell me anything). In the full the day tour I took with him he took me to all the bridges and all the important shrines along the river while explaining their history and significance. I got the real picture of Srinagar only after I did this tour with him. These kind of genuine guides are becoming rare these days. Hope he gets to share his knowledge with many other tourists visiting the city. He also conducts other tours in and around Kashmir valley.

We took a walking tour in Srinagar. We had limited time (2-3 hours) and wanted to do something off beat and not visit regular places. Came across him in google reviews . Turned out to be an amazing choice. Right from start he explained to us that this is not a tourist guide usual approach. We started at zero bridge. What followed was a nice immersion into understanding Kashmir better - history, wars, 90s tumultuous times, architecture, people and more! We walked for nearly 2.5 hours and stopped for chai at a warm place in old city. It's a must do for anyone looking to do something more than just go to dal lake and visit standard places. You get to see things that wouldn't just be possible otherwise, make a new friend, and learn more ! At the end of 3 hour visit, all Abdul had to say was - we've only seen 5% of Srinagar and there's so much more to cover. Eagerly waiting for the next visit. shukriyaa! ps : he mentioned he conducts different kinds of tours besides walking - to different places in Kashmir so do contact him for that .

Abdul's tour was unique in a city with so much historical value. We were looking for something that gives true picture of the city and found in this all day walking tour. Abdul is knowledgeable, and clearly is passionate about his city and job. He gave realistic views on everything and we had fun discussing a vast multitude of topics with him. And his pricing was extremely reasonable. If you are in the city for more than Dal lake, please take his tour and explore the rich culture and traditions of the city with Abdul. Highly recommended.

We were fortunate enough to meet Abdul while walking the streets of Sringar and got to know that he also conducts educational/heritage tours of the city. We knew in an instance that we would like to do a private walking tour with him. With the warmest smile, he also has an infinite love for the Kashmiri culture, history and architecture. Abdul took us to many lesser known places which we wouldn't have been able to explore on our own. We started our tour at 11 from the Zero Bridge and explored the whole city of old sringar on foot while passing through the small and old alleys of the old town. Abdul loves what he does and you can see his passion in his work. He showed and educated us about many historic architectures, mosques, temples and bridges and also introduced us to the real Kashmir hospitality which the place is known for. I genuinely recommend anyone who is visiting Sringar to take a tour with Abdul. He is the warmest person i have met in Sringar so far who has real passion for his work and endless love for Kashmir.
