Ritz Classic-Panjim Gymkhana - Featured Reviews (5131)
I've been a loyal fan of Ritz Classic, and recently visited the Gymkhana branch to avoid wait times. Despite arriving at the supposed opening time of 12:30, the fish thali I love wasn't ready until 1:30. The delay aside, the restaurant filled up quickly, leaving many waiting outside. The fish thali, once served, lived up to its reputation as one of the best. The overall experience was good, but the timing issue could be improved for a smoother dining experience
Amazing experience as always. Their Ala carte food is great as usual but the icing on the cake now is the start of Thali's in the afternoon. Had ordered Fish Thali, Paneer Bhurji and Roti for lunch and they as always were 10/10. The service is something they should work on as their service is super slow.
When you think of ritz you think of authentic Goan Thali served with kokum juice. Unfortunately on the last occasion when I visited this place the food wasn't upto the mark.
The fish in the thali was stale and the muscles that we ordered weren't fresh either.
The overall atmosphere was pretty much dull and the persons serving did not seem very interested. Hopefully this was just a one off.
The food was luscious.... Specially the fish was perfectly fried. The staff was very kind and gentle. The ambience is just outstanding. This place has outdoor seating too. This place is perfect for family. Ample of parking available.Highly recommended.
This may be the first and the last time I am eating at ritz classic at this location. I have eaten at all other locations of ritz and they have never disappointed me. For some reason the food here today was stale. The kingfish reshado we ordered was very stale and kinda had weird taste. Only curry in fish thali was good, everything else seemed to be stale and not tasting good. We had very high expectations from Ritz and our expectations on food taste and quality were not met. However, the service was good and waiter was polite and helpful.
One of the oldest yet best places in Goa to have authentic Goan cuisine. Goan fish thali is really tasty and yummy. We ordered prawns rawa fry as well. It tasted really yummy. All the preparations were very tasty, less oil. Must try fish thali.
Very nice outdoor seating. Food was okay. The sol-kadi was absolutely bad, sitting on the table one could see the solution separating.
Went for an early Sunday lunch. This place has a huge ac hall indoor seating, Alfresco seating along corridor; besides a highly recommended Waterfront seating (currently under renovation till end May 2023).
Since waterfront was not available we sat in the ac hall.
I would recommend Goan cuisine, though they are multi cuisine.
Ordered prawn dangar & velho rava fried for snacks.
Entree was their fish thali.
Food was authentic Goan, and tasty.
The indoor hall gets packed by 1pm, and has a bazaar atmosphere, not recommended for a quite meal.
Their waterfront seating is peaceful, being made permanent with covering, so one can enjoy it during the monsoons as well.
Very good parking area.
Would strongly recommend this branch of RC.
