Coming for Yoga - Staying as a Family! I attended a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at Rishikesh Yog Temple for the month of July 2023. I have been an on and off again yoga practitioner for the past 5-6 years and decided it was time to take my practice to the next level. I knew that I wanted a genuine experience that focused beyond the physical aspects of yoga, small class sizes, and some peace and quiet. Rishikesh Yog Temple exceeded my expectations and not only did I learn and experience techniques beyond yoga poses, I gained a yoga family. My classmates and I built a bond that will last no matter the length of time or distance that separates us and the support and encouragement I felt from the instructors, staff, and family will keep me motivated for years to come. This experience not only taught me how to be a quality yoga instructor it also gave me skills for my personal life. I would like to say how much I enjoy my yoga practice at Rishikesh Yog temple. The school has such a welcoming, friendly atmosphere and a wonderful group of instructors that do nurture it. I feel fortunate to practice at such a welcoming school and will be forever grateful for the knowledge I have gained! I must say your instructors are very thorough with their approach and explanation of the poses and I enjoy them and their humor as well! Before I started the course I was worried I wouldn't be advanced enough in my practice to do teacher training, Now I can confidently say that it doesn't matter how experienced or advanced you are because the teachers patiently focused on every student, and made us feel comfortable. Being it any subject theory or practice it was great learning sessions with the teachers. We had an excursion to Kunjapuri temple It is a very beautiful location. Loved the view from here and especially the Sunrise! If you are fond of trekking then make sure to do Rishikesh's Sunrise trek. I feel like this temple is one of the hidden gems of Uttarakhand. And then we had a beautiful beach yoga session, it was so peaceful the riverside and the breeze, and we played some games besides yoga which was quite entertaining. Another thing that made this journey of mine very special was that every member of the staff was always helpful, no matter what and when they were always there to support and help us. I would highly recommend Rishikesh yog temple to everyone who wants to explore yoga and Rishikesh and wants to make their journey simple yet beautiful.

I have just completed my 200hr yoga teacher training at Rishikesh Yog Temple. My initial worry of not being "good enough" at yoga quickly disappeared once I got to class and met all the teachers. Every teacher here is knowledgeable, patient, and understanding, but still know how to push me to improve my personal practice. I stayed in a private room where I had a bathroom and balcony and was comfortable to rest in between classes. Everything you could need outside of the school is within walking distance which was very convenient. I appreciated that the school hosted excursions for us so we could immerse ourselves in the culture of Rishikesh. We did beach yoga, meditation on the Ganga river, sunrise hike to temple in the mountains, etc. Everyone I came across here has treated me with kindness, and I will leave here with many memories and friendships. I would recommend Rishikesh Yog Temple to anyone who would like to develop their practice and/or become a certified yoga teacher. Thank you and hope to be back again.

I completed my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training at Rishikesh Yog Temple one month ago. I think the best way to describe how great my experience was is to simply say, that i stayed for another month and didn't even want to leave after that. Before I started the course I was worried I wouldn't be advanced enough in my practice to do a teacher training and to keep up with all the other students. Now I can confidently say it doesn't matter how experienced or advanced you are because the teachers patiently focus on every single students needs. Thanks to these amazing teachers I made incredible progress and so did all the other students in my batch. This doesn't only apply for the physical (asana) classes but also for everything I learned about the yoga philosophy, anatomy, pranayama, meditation and alignment. Every now and then we also went on excursions and they were incredible! Especially the trip to the Kunjapuri Temple, where we got to see the sunrise. Another thing that made this school and my experience very special was, that every member of staff was always very helpful when we had problems or questions etc., no matter what we needed. I would highly recommend this YTTC to everyone who wants to become a great yoga teacher or to learn a lot about yoga and take their practice to the next level, but also wants to experience and explore Rishikesh and its culture, eat great food, meet new people, make friends and explore themselves. Rishikesh Yog Temple has the full package for you! I myself will definitely come back to do the 300 hour TTC and I couldn't be more excited!

My experience at Rishikesh Yog Temple was absolutely amazing! The yoga classes were excellent, and the teachers were incredibly dedicated. They helped me significantly, and I improved in my asanas. The theoretical classes were very informative, and I learned a lot about anatomy, alignment, meditation, and philosophy. They prefer small groups, so you can learn more effectively. The accommodations were very comfortable, and the food was amazing. I highly recommend this school; it's awesome. All the best to you guys, you're the best!
