Punjab Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) in Jalandhar, from my personal perspective, is a commendable institution that left a positive impression. During my recent interaction with PIMS, I found it to be a hub of excellence in medical education and healthcare services. The facilities at PIMS are impressive, providing students with a conducive environment for learning. The faculty's commitment to nurturing the students is evident, ensuring a well-rounded education that goes beyond textbooks. Only this star for free food . In my opinion totaly there is going not a service it like some medical business . They don't have a bit of ethics. If you think it's a medical College and get good treatment . You won't get that believe will be a huge mistake. Don't go people please if you think there's cheap and you can save money.they will make everything on medicin bill

Doctors & whole staff is so cooperative & well deserving in their jobs 3 . Quite affordable treatment 4 . Above all no greed & irrelevant tests 5 . Majorly all kind Medical facilities are available. Doctors really nice, polite and good listeners. No chaos over management and everything is nicely planned and laid out

Good experience in pims hospital clean and neat. Staff is cooperative. Hospital is too big and ample space of parking available. Price is also cheaper then other hospitals. Doctors are well educated and they are not greedy like pvt hospital.

Best government college in Punjab. They provides almost all facilities at very reasonable prices. They have facilities starting from general OPD to OT, ICU and specialists of all type like dermatologist, gynecologist etc. I haven't meet other doctors except dermatologist. The doctor is very polite and give proper time to patients to know about their problem. The infrastructure of the college/hospital is expanded in large area. The hospital is neat and clean inside and outside. It took hardly 15 minutes walk to reach the hospital from Jalandhar bus stand.

Pims stands for Punjab institute of medical sciences.its located on garhha road near bus stand and opposite reliance mall.it has very large and spacious building. Lots of gardens are also maintained. Building is neat and clean,with all the specialist doctors.xray facilities available. Laboratory also there.canteen is also inside the building.there are two big medicine shops inside.fees is only rs 10 valid for six months. Parking for two wheelers and cars available.

The first medical college and teaching hospital in Doaba region. PIMS was conceptualized under Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode by PIMS Society, PIMS Medical and Education Charitable Society, Department of Medical Education & Research and GoP to be a tertiary care teaching hospital.The hospital has many clinical departments including medicine, general surgery, orthopedics, gynecology and obstetrics,pediatrics, ophthalmology, dermatology and venerology, psychiatry, dentistry, physiotherapy, nephrology, urology, plastic and reconstructive surgery, medical oncology, ENT, chest and TB. The O.P.D. charges are based on P.G.I. norms. The hospital also has pathological, biochemical and microbiological including COVID-19 RT-PCR and Rapid Antigen Testing (RAT) diagnostic facilities with highly specialized laboratories and imaging techniques including X-Ray, Ultrasound and CT scan. The institute has a blood bank, dialysis unit, COVID-19 treatment facility and round the clock emergency services. Functioning of Anti-Retroviral Therapy (ART) centre was allowed in PIMS premises Under National AIDS Control Programme (NACP).
