OYO 23098 Ushama Heritage Guest House - Hotel in Puducherry - Pondicherry, India

We checked out here early morning around 5.30, staff was sleeping but didn't get irritated and woke up. He managed to complete all the formalities within 5 minutes and we checked out smoothly, that was great as we were tired and wanted to sleep as soon as possible. Staff was really friendly and cooperative. Room was bit smaller but no complaint. My only complaint is about cleaning, washroom was not cleaned properly. It was bit overpriced but that was fine as we booked hotel during peak season. Overall it was a great stay. Thank you OYO

An affordable accommodation in the centre of Pondicherry. Staff are really friendly and helpful. And also they all talk English. Therefore good for tourists. Early Check is available at rs 200. One problem is that the hotel is upstairs and have no lift /elevator. Therefore it's not the right choice for elderly and disabled guests The room rent is affordable rs 1200 for 2 inclusive of breakfast (Decent South Indian breakfast). It's air-conditioned and clean. Bathroom is good. But the water is really bad (only good to take bath). Make it a point to buy bottled water (Bisleri/Aquafina). Overall very nice experience.

A complete waste of Money. Me and my wife checked in the Hotel on 11/01/2020 for a night stay in this hotel. For ease of check-in i made the payment in advance for the ac room i booked. I was provided with a room where A/C was not functional. It functioned in Fan mode only, without cooling effect. The bathroom and toilet was not cleaned properly. It was more like a public toilet. The bathroom tap was having Shock due to some electric malfunctioning. We were not provided with Towels and Soap in the first instant. The bedsheets were not changed and it was itchy and had hairs of some previous occupant. While pointing out the complaints the staff was getting rude and bad mannered instead of apologizing. It was the worst experience we ever had from a Hotel

Very well maintained oyo room. Staff service are excellent. 2 person room are available there. Location of is the market place. So that can able to take food near the hotel. Since location of hotel in the market so any thing you want can able to find in the short time. Complementary stuff was given by the hotel. Switch board are less as compared to other hotel. WiFi facility is available.

The bad thing is that the break fast was not up to the mark while we're paying extra amount of 170/-. It's just a 40rs break fast. They are not serving the guest properly. The total building is so dirt with the bins. They are not asking for cleaning the room and bathroom as well. More over the bathroom is like public toilet.

One of the worst third class hotel, we paid 3.5k for 2nights that was a joke.first of all we got the room with no ventilation and full finoile smell , then we asked them to change the room and we got another third class room . Just look at the images, toilet is look like public toilet in bus stand, Rooms are full of dirt and not cleaned properly, Pillow covers are not changed you can see the stain on it. Towels are not changed for 2nd day All leakages in bathroom fittings No proper ventilation Full dirt under the bed Dustbin not cleaned Not Evan properly painted rooms. On top of all they are asking us to give 5star while checking out. He he he..... Oyo and make my trip are loosing there standards.

Dirty place to stay and it's very expensive. They ripped us off and we hardly got any blankets. The bedsheet had stains on it and the bathroom was clogged when we entered. Don't even think about going here. The staff is useless and so is the room. The whole place stinks.

The bed sheets were smelly. Equipment in the toilet were broken. But the staff were polite and supportive and did not behave rudely. The rooms must be cleaned throughly and equipments checked on a timely basis
