My father B Sheshagiri Rao was diagnosed with advanced dementia six months ago. After consultation with a neurologist, general physician and the doctors in our family we realized the need for physiotherapy and occupational therapy for him which will slow down the further deterioration, apart from the professional help and prescribed dementia medicines. I came to know about NIKISA DV through a close relative and visited the place. I visited the Centre and spoke to Mr Kiran and Ms Moumita. They spent hours explaining the nature of the disease, the measures taken by them to take care of patients and the pattern of life followed there. Their policy of the family member to stay for a couple of days with the patient and the caretaker to make the admission as well as transition process smooth proved the concern they have towards the patient. After the interaction with them, I was impressed immensely by their policies and approach towards the patients. Now It is three months since he was admitted there and am highly satisfied with the way he is taken care of. I should mention at this point about Dr Kavitha who could see the pain in us leaving him and the way she consoled us is worth mentioning. She could empathize with us and counselled us regarding the need for professional help in his case. A man who used to be in bed for at least 18 hours a day and who was making a lot of fuss to eat is now spending considerably more time on physical activities like physiotherapy, walking ( walking almost 1.5 km a day)etc. Even his quantity of intake has improved which I observed when he was brought home for a couple of days. Every day I get videos of him and every month his blood and urine test results. He is given proper medication in case of any other health issues and I am informed about that. The presence of a 24/7 caretaker (special mention to Mr Manju who is very loving and caring), a balanced diet food with a lot of vegetables and fruits, the well maintained personal hygiene, physical activities, periodical health checkups, the timely intervention of general physician and psychiatrist ( which was a Herculean task especially for a 92 years old patient who lost the vision due to dementia) and the care given by other staff members have improved his quality of life which wouldn't have been possible if he was staying at home. I not only appreciate the team NIKISA but also thank them sincerely for all the time and effort they put into this task, which everyone who has dealt with dementia patient agree, is not at all easy. I also appreciate the effort taken by Dr. Subramaniam to talk to the primary caretaker every month to get feedback and suggestions which shows their commitment, Consideration and dedication. He has proven himself as a great leader by running the centre very meticulously. NIKISA is a home away from home and thanks a lot to the entire crew.

The service rendered by the management and the team is amazing. In Aug 2020 my father expired at the age of 99 and my mother who was already into dementia was highly agitated and became worse. Fortunately we were able to locate this place and they admitted her immediately. They are taking care of her nicely since then and she is at peace now. They send her videos daily and they carry out regular blood tests and other tests. Feed back is given regularly. Safety/ cleanliness are given high priority. She gets good balanced diet and regular exercises. Staff are pleasant. Overall my mother is very comfortable there.

We admitted our father at Nikisa in February. We were worried and apprehensive about it. However, after six months i want to say we are extremely happy with the care given to him. We could not have given this care at home. Starting from the ambience, food and environment, everything is very good. The attending staff are very well mannered and above all compassionate. There is a set routine, that has helped my father. The managers are extremely coperative. Information about my father's condition is shared everyday. Recently, he had a medical emergency. Taking our consent, they managed to get him treated without our presence, for which i am grateful. Dr. Subramanya has provided a platform for elderly dementia patients to be treated and cared, that's one of is kind. Thanks to all at Nikisa for the work they are doing.

It's been more than 4 months now since my father is under the care of Nikisa and I am very satisfied with the services provided. For eg, it was his birthday celebration and it was really nice to see the way it was celebrated with so much joy. His personal needs have been taken care of-in terms of personal hygiene, eating etc and it is worth mentioning that every staff member-from Kiran, to Momita to the ground staff and the doctors who take care of his daily needs are very approachable. If I have any concerns, I know I just need to contact the team without thinking twice and the matter will be looked into. I have to confess, I was extremely apprehensive in the beginning but I am much more at ease now knowing he is in good hands and he is being well taken care of and his medical needs are being met.

I admitted my dad at Nikisa in September. He is 81 years old and visually impaired. His dementia progressed to a stage where home care had become challenging. I tried caregivers, but unfortunately it was not working out. He started having sun dawning issues, hallucinations, disorientation, agitation and wandering. I was desperately looking for professional help and came across Nikisa. I must have called late night around 10:30 pm, and Mr. Subramaya responded and spoke to me in detail. His knowledge, awareness and confident voice gave me so much reassurance that I decided to admit my dad. Later, Kiran helped me come out of my moments of despair. I was not able to go to Nikisa in person, so he sent me pictures, videos and gave me detailed description of this beautiful village. I stayed with my dad for three days and was completely awestruck by how professional and competent the team is. The place is clean, quiet and green. Vegetarian food is just perfect. I receive monthly diagnostic reports and the treatment he is on. Moumita is absolutely amazing, always there to pick my call and give solutions. The doctors here are very kind, compassionate and noted my dad's past history and is providing treatment that is proven the best. With the incredible support of the entire team, my dad is much calmer now. He is unable to express in as many words, but I can see that he is happy. I get to see my dad everyday, thanks to Mr. Subramanya's daily videos. I love my dad, so this was the most difficult decision I've had to take till date. I initially felt very guilty and tears just pooled in corner of my eyes. Now I feel I have made the right decision, knowing my dad is in good hands. Huge gratitude to the entire team of Nikisa.

My mother was admitted to Nikisa Dementia centre Bangalore just over 3 months ago. Prior to this she was in a general retirement village, where they were unable to take care of her dementia condition. While looking for alternative treatment centres, I came across Nikisa and decided to visit the centre. I was initially bowled over by the facility, which was not only huge with spacious rooms but built around a nice green park giving it a very homely ambience. Although still cautious, I decided to admit my mother at this centre. During the last 3 months I had the opportunity to constantly liaise with their doctors including their psychiatrist and was very happy on how my mother was monitored and also treated. They were able to identify and treat an infection which my mother was suffering from and was not able to express. I get daily videos of my mother's activities during the day, which is a real treat. The food looks very sumptuous and there is always plenty of staff in attendance. All in all, after 3 months, I feel that I have made the right decision and feel very comforted for my mother. A big salute to Dr. S. Subramanya and his dedicated team.

NIKISA is one of the best places for dementia care in Bangalore. We have visited almost every place in Bangalore which takes in dementia patients but is not exclusively for dementia care like NIKISA. Its been over 6 months our family member is admitted here and we are very happy with the care they give. You are updated on everyday basis and you can video call and talk to your people at any time of the day. Food is healthy, I say this because I stayed there for 3 days and tasted the food first hand. The place is very huge, neatly maintained.Self hygiene of the patient is also taken care very well. Though, no place is a home other than your own, NIKISA tries their best to make the inmates feel they not in a hospital setting which is what we truly like about this place. Overall, we are happy to say that we made the right decision and that our loved one is in safe hands.
