The person at the desk is really a nice guy. Very humble, down to earth. He even suggested us places to look around ! And regarding the accommodation, its a decent place to stay. Maintained so good. It's very much suggest-able for solo travelers, backpackers and for the people who are looking accommodation at less cost. To be precise pocket friendly. (Please do visit the terrace, its good) The place is somewhat located in a narrow street so bikes/bicycles can only be parked. Cars should be parked somewhere far from the Hostel. Hope this helps. Friendly Manager, peaceful and clean place, only reason I didn't give 5 star is bike parking was a bit headache...

My brother and I recently visited this place and right from the first moment we really felt welcomed, be it the cook working or the beautiful hand paintings or fellow guest staying there all were very welcoming. More than the stay its a wholesome experience which will make you feel fully satisfied. Especially Rajeesh who was available for any help at any point of timd. If you are visiting pondicherry do visit this place. Its a home away from home!

The people there are hospitable in the true sense of the word and they try to make everything convenient for you. It's a calm, quiet place in the center of the town. The rooms are really pocket friendly and clean and cozy. I would like to recommend this place to all who are concerned with their budget.

Really nice place to sleep, specially if sleeping is the last of your priorities while the trip. Its not at all straining on the pocket. You get a comfortable place to sleep, place your stuff and have a shower. PS: smoking and drinking is banned

A great place where you get to know interesting people. I loved that they had a bookshelf with books you could borrow and that you could buy a cheap meal in the ashram if you wanted to. Tricky location for rickshaw drivers, but great budget friendly place to stay.
