Nagri Inn - Inn in Port Blair - South Andamans, India

I don't know where to start from. The room was big and A/c was working however there was no hot water in the bathroom. We have to call the reception and they bring it to you in a bucket. There is no free Wifi and the owner charges Rs.100/- per hour. Yes you read it right its Rs.100/- an hour not a day or 12 hours. There is no complimentary breakfast, stayed here just for a night and that was good enough. The property is not maintained properly and its in shambles. The only reason why this hotel is still surviving is because , its bang opposite the airport. Please avoid it at all costs and if you have to try to book it if you can't find anything else. However it has a nice budget friendly South-Indian restaurant (Jcee) next to it.

No time to take photos was getting the stay No geyser...no wifi...got a room where the Tv was spoilt. Changed to another room, tv was working here but it was like a basement so stuffy and full of mosquitoes so finally had to tell them to shift back to first room where the Tv didn't work. Bathroom not that clean found a used condom packet on top of the ac switch. Asked for a new towel they went to take one of the towels laid down on the lawn to dry on the grass in the sun. So told them no thank you did not want that. Asked for lunch said they had to go to the market and buy and would take 1-2 hours. Only good thing about this hotel is distance from the airport.

A budget hotel jst opposite to airport. If u are not looking for very great hotel, Nagri Inn is good option as such hotels r primarily to spend ur night as most of the time u stay outside. Food here is good u need to inform them early if u want to have. Home type food. Owner is of very helping nature.

I had a stay at nagri inn for 5 days of which first initial 3 days i was provided the most pathetic congested room with no geyser and often light in the morning hours went off. They don't have backup generator. On the 4th day i was shifted to other room in the back row which was really better and was spacious with adequate lighting and all applicances worked perfect. So for those 2 good days i give 2 stars. Its a good place to stay but make sure to get the good rooms on first hand note. They provide real bad rooms initially. done

Very in hygienic place. Fungus over bed and sofa . Lizard ants over wall . Staines and dirty washroom. Forget about internet. No security. No room service not even a service phone. You have to run for every small things like water. Tea. Because they don't have it morning and evening 2 maids will come you have to find them and tell them about u r food requirements. No Generator in power cut you have to lit your own candle. Today morning horrific experience. I was schedule for check out 0700 . No water in washroom. I went outside to check out someone help. Found the guy after some 10 minutes. He explained me that no water due to last night he hadn't received water tanker. When he tried to uplift rain water from underground tank .. water pump failed. After small repair when it's about to start electricity gone off. No way he delivered 2 buckets of the water. You may imagine this when your kids in washroom over the commode and all drama was going on and u r flight is in next 60 minutes. Only just because of very close to airport you can't give this hotel even one*. NO A PLACE WHERE CIVILIZED PERSON CAN STAY.

Very good budget hotel, good location, just opposite to airport entry gate, very good staff and owner, personal attention is given by owner ,Mr James, polite staff, good food ( but need to order in advance). recommended Deluxe Ac room.

To start off, the rooms are of terrible standard. Dirty, smelly, with mold and fungus all over the wall of our room. At night the room got infested with cockroaches and lizards and the service is practically non existent. Stay away from the place, and that's also an advice from the locals.

Best hotel for family in port blair you could probably get anywhere else. Staff is best and cooking staff is also very friendly and treat us like family members. Overall best place to spend your holiday.
