Authentic South Indian food served on banana leaf Keema biryani with raita was so delicious! I come here whenever I have friends visiting Bangalore. Dosa is only served in dinner which is also very tasty!
This place is right at the main road.
Valet parking is available.
Food is good for the price you pay. It's served on banana leaves and wonderful andhra cuisines to choose from.
There are a good amount of options for vegetarians too.
Ambience is decent. Quite crowded due to it's popularity. Make prior reservations before visiting here.
I have reviewed multiple Nagarjuna restaurants in Bangalore and given pretty much all of then 5 stars.
I feel this Nagarjuna feels a little more upscale than the other restaurants especially due to the exterior.
The food is just as good as the other outlets. My wife and I had chiken biriyani and mutton biriyani respectively. As always, we ended up packing the portion we couldn't finish. The raitha and gravy that we get with the biriyani is excellent. The raitha didn't have any cucumber which I appreciated.
I'm pretty sure I am never getting tired of the food at Nagarjuna.
I absolutely adore Nagarjuna for their delicious vegetarian meals. I've frequented this restaurant numerous times solely for their comforting, non-spicy veg thali. The freshness of their ingredients truly stands out. I also ventured into their appetizers, and they didn't disappoint. While their mutton biryani leans on the spicier side, it's undeniably tasty. The overall experience at Nagarjuna is exceptional; their top-notch service adds to the charm. This restaurant is a definite winner in my book!
Nagarjuna is famous of their authentic andhra style menu. I had heard both hype and play down of the food. Coming to the personal experience, we chose to order andhra meals/ bhojana, which is a pleasant andhra thali with unlimited rice and different curries. I was expecting a chapathi/roti/indian bread for the meal, but they don't have it included in the menu. Additionally, we had ordered chicken lollipop, which was flavourful. It was crisp from the outside and tendered from inside. The meal was authentic and satisfying. The staff were nice and attentive. The restaurant has a good ambience. They maintain the hygiene. So, overall, a 4.3 for the experience.
The Andhra thali I experienced at this restaurant was truly outstanding. The food was absolutely delicious, offering a delightful array of flavors and authentic Andhra cuisine. The service provided was top-notch, with attentive and friendly staff ensuring a memorable dining experience. If you're a fan of Andhra cuisine or simply looking for a fantastic meal, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit.
Specialist in Andhra style cuisine. Especially, vegetarian meal on green banana leaves is amazing. This meal starts with 6 to 8 varieties of cups full of delicacies.. Subji, payasam or kheer, rasam, papad or appalam, sambar, pickles, white rice, pappu or dal unique to South India and aromatic ghee .. Goes on. You will beg your tummy for more space
Excellent hospitality right from vallet parking, seating arrangement, service of food,..
Frankly I guess I went with too much expectation. The food was very average not sure what is the hype about. The mutton biryani was good, kheema biryani was very average, too spicy and no flavour. Meal was just another vegetarian meal, would have loved some non vegetarian gravy as an option. Would have loved to see a chicken or mutton dish with gongura in the menu.
