Mizoram Science Centre, Berawtlang - Science museum in Aizawl - Aizawl, India

Perfect environment for a fun scientific get away. Has natural flora and fauna with a blend of minimal technology on the exterior and, a fully yet simple integration of technology on the inside. Clean water and air at all times. Sanitation is good for small parties visits. Ideal for school excursions. English, Hindi and Mizo languages are welcomed. Good hospitality. The metal roads connecting it could be better. It can get quite bumpy on the way.

The planetarium was great but I wish they talked in english also I could not understand anything

It was closed. We were there early. However, the displays and signages outside were simply superb. Will surely comeback to explore very soon.

Need a lot of renovation... The Department should look for some schemes and subsidies to renovate the center. Although they might already get it.. But they need to renovate it again.

Interesting place.Children will enjoy.For some exhibits, the maintenance is lacking.There are 2 shows too.The 3D one is basic, but the planetarium show is quite interesting.The language of delivery Mizo, but on request they will play the english version also.Location is confusing on the map,so ask someone at the tourist cafeteria in Berawtlang for directions.

A very quiet and refreshing place to go visit once in a while. They've just opened the observatory which you can use at night to see the skies. The only minus point is that reception is very bad there and there are a lot of mosquitoes in the evening.
