The rooms are basic and can be better by maintaining cleanliness. My 1 star is for the below reason. But the location is amazing. However please note a few things before you plan your stay there. 1. If you are a dog lover its fine but the owner has a very old and sick dog who has been ignored. The body of the dog seemed like it had some problems. It was not a great sight. He left the dog at the restaurant. When u eat u will expect the dog to come around which may turn off ur appetite. 2. The owner knew we were out and would be returning late. He locked the main doors to the entrance or our room. At 1 - 1.30 am we were out and were trying to get in touch with the owner and workers but no one was responding. Finally after a long wait and a lot of knocking on the door he woke up from his sleep and opened the entrance to our room. This was absolutely wrong. The owner can't decide when we need to return back from our dinner. 3. On day 1 they didn't provide a bedsheet or blankets. We thought it was in the storage hence didn't cross check because it's assumed that this is a basic understanding that it needs to be provided. In the night when I tried reaching out to the owner he switched off his phone and slept. I dropped him a wats app message but he read and ignored it. The next day when I walked up to him he just simply replied ok will send it right away. 4. There are hot water issues while taking a shower.

We rent 2 rooms for 8 days. Stay was OK. AC was working, rooms was clean. Owner do the taxi for us from Goa Airport there and back. Food was delicious. We get loved with Naan from tandoori :-) We compare food with other places and I can recommend this restaurant.

Clean room next the beach. A/C works well, sometimes internet connection was weak but I managed to work remotely (but slowly) Best dinners in Agonda. Nans straight from tandori. Delicious. Highly recomend restaurant and rooms

Maria Paulo is in South Goa with walkable access to Agonda beach. This hotel has a bar and a restaurant and has a good vibe. But the hotel is not properly maintained. It has sepage, spider webs all over the rooms. We booked room 103 which is very cramped and has no walking space, it has 3 big beds and a big fridge. AC was not working, he tried to resolve the issue but couldn't, hence we had to change the room to 102, but then the flush was not working, room was very dim lit, and couldn't close the bathroom door. He fixed the flush and laughed stupidly on the bathroom door issue. Wasted another hour. Next day we gave the room key for cleaning and came back in the evening, again AC not working. We were frustrated and decided to switch the hotel. On any issue, he just laughs and tries to give reasons. He charges 2500 per day for the 1st floor which has a blink of Agoda beach and 3500 per day for the 2nd floor which has sea view rooms. Next, I booked a better resort for 2300 bucks. Staying at this place was irritating.

Recently I visit this place with my family, we had good experience they have different variety of tasty food must visit if you are looking for tasty breakfast and meal it's worthy

Visited the restaurant, goan seafood was the pick of the night. Fresh & tasty preparations. Recheado fish is a must try. No comments on the rooms as we didn't stay at the place.

Best place to stay very near to agonda beach. Staffs are friendly. Food was also good.

Rooms could have been better in size and conditions, service was ok not great. Location is good, near to beach.
