Le Club (LA TENDANCE) - Restaurant in Puducherry - Pondicherry, India

Had been to this place few years back when it was located in its old location and liked the relaxed atmosphere. So had the same expectations. This place is too crammed. So I have given it a lesser rating for the ambiance and setup which they say is temporary. Food was good in general. Except for Veg lasagna and Creme brulee for dessert which was very much average. Good service.

Food and ambiance is really good but too much overpriced. Took 2 items from main courses it cost 1365. More over they didn't take service charge but added 5 Rs mentioned as coinage.

Everything about this restaurant is AMAZING. Food quality is great and ambience is superb too. I loved all dishes. Best for sea food.

I liked the nearly open air place under the mango tree as the climate was unusually nice. There were fans too, ready to step in, if the breeze got lazy. The pork chops could have been a bit better perhaps with a darker sauce instead of the bright red one. Bira blonde wasn't available but there was Budweiser. The place might be more interesting in the night.

Honnetement sa fait plaisir de manger un steak sauce poivre en Inde, apres ne vous imaginer pas une brasserie francaise. Le mojito est plutot bon et bien charger La viande et frite tres bien. Juste le verre de vin rouge (pris au verre) et infame car bien trop chaud avis au proprio une cave a 8-10 degres serai pas de trop surtout qu'il vende des vin francais a 4000irp la bouteille si ils les servent a temperature ambiante carnage! Du coup 4 etoiles pour l'effort de ramener un bout de France dans se pays si lointain.

First, this review is from my visits years ago, this place has created such fond memories for me and my friends through food and drinks. I always ask for the chicken sizzler which is my favourite and they never fail to disappoint. I am tagging this place to ensure that I visit Le Club, again, in a trip that's planned soon this year.

Je suis venu pour le steak sauce au poivre et je n'ai pas ete decu. Tres tranquille rooftop, peu de client un dimanche soir. Serveur tres sympa. Mousse au chocolat pas aussi bon que Chez le bon Vieux Francis mais en quantite suffisante.
