Moderately priced South Indian. No sambar in South Indian thali is kind of weird, instead they have rajma! Cleanliness is also low, especially near hand wash area.

Budget friendly restaurant which serves decent South Indian cuisine. Service was fine. 1. Desi Ghee Mysore Masala Dosa: This Dosa was tasty. Masala was tasty. 2. Chilli Parotta: It wasn't that spicy. Parotta was chopped into pieces and mixed with onion, capsicum, etc. 3. Filter Coffee: Coffee was fine.

It was my first try on South Indian cuisine at Chandigarh and I can say it's one of the best. I ate Vada sambar and it was delicious

I was craving for eating authentic south indian food .. found this place and visited here ... one of the best south indian food i ever had in Chandigarh .. tried their Uttapam , idli sambar and filter coffee ... as i stayed in south for 5 years ... i can say that taste is very close to authentic south Indian....

This is a great eatery in the unassuming commonplace settings of a crowded market of sector 47. From outside it gives the appearance of just another place to eat but the proof lies in the eating. Generally a well subscribed place more so during lunch timings. It has two floors to sit and eat with a ' no frill ' settings of long tables and chairs. A separate shop is used as a mother kitchen to cater for ever increasing crowd of south Indian food lovers . As you enter ,the charateristic aroma of South Indian food fills your senses fuelling the appetite. The dishes served in steel utensils has a clever touch of authenticity of South with mild modifications to satiate the taste buds of a North Indian palate. The helpings are large enough to help stomach and generous refills of curry and chutneys are available without extra charges. I recommend this eatery for both the hungry and gourmet.

I don't know what is the fuss is it about this place. Any south Indian would know this is not even 10 perc close to the quality, taste of what we call it a south Indian dish. I had the masala dosa, after having it. I didn't get the satisfaction of eating something worthwhile, so I ordered a fried rice to see if they would do that right. But still it was depressing.

Good food, great taste and variety. Rates are a bit on the higher side but worth trying if you want to have an experience of authentic South Indian food. Lots of varieties available. I tried the Special Paneer Dosa. It was stuffed to the brim and heavy. Very good taste. The Sambar was hot and thick. Both red and white chutney was given, both were good in taste. They also have an outlet in Sector 15. Thi outlet in 47D is located in the market. There are a lot of South Indian Food restaurants in the same line. Most of the times there is quite a bit of waiting here. Be prepared to wait approx. 10 minutes on average.

Authentic South Indian food. Had Masala Dosa and Rawa Masala Dosa with Rasam. All tasted good. The atmosphere needs improvement, service is very ordinary. However value for money restaurant.
