I will not suggest dining at this "Jan Aahar" restaurant. The cuisine is not at all worth the prices they charge. We didn't really love the cuisine that we had dinner at this Howrah Junction restaurant yesterday with some pals. We paid 150 rupees for each plate of basic cuisine that was completely unworthy. The self-service aspect was also subpar. I can now compose a quote for this kind of restaurant: "uuNcaa dukaan phiikaa pkvaan." It's ideal for this kind of establishment.
I won't recommend to have food in this restaurant"Jan Aahar". As per there charges, food is not at all worth it. Yesterday, Me along withy friends had dinner in this restaurant inside Howrah Junction and we didn't enjoyed food at any bit. It costed us 150Rs. each plate for simple food and it wasn't at all worthful. Self service was also not so good.
Today I can used write a quote for these type of resturant " uuNcaa dukaan phiikaa pkvaan " and it completely suits for this restaurant.
Overall it's good option for food ..don't judge it's test , ambiance, etc because it's really pocket friendly ..at this price it's OK..chiken biriyani is rs 100 ..fried rice , chiken curry , and one golap jamun rs 115 with 12% gst ..different types of affordable thali is available..but packaging charges is high according to me ..for two different item , rs 40 is charged ..
Though the atmosphere of the place is much better than the previous one they have updated the ambiance with the time but the quality of the food is not updated. Though the price of the food is more comfortable for the common people than the other option within the platform area. But they should provide a wash room option for their customers.
Jan Ahaar Food Store does not provide good value for the cost of its food. I would recommend trying the Food Plaza Restaurant as an alternative. Their food options are diverse and delicious, and you are sure to find something that satisfies your cravings. Additionally, their prices are reasonable and fair. Overall, I highly recommend giving Food Plaza Restaurant a try instead of Jan Ahaar.

Very nice service .food quality are good .rate are reasonable.veg thali and no veg thali are there .also sweet and juice and cold drink ice cream are available. Table chair available for eating food .also there self service .drinking water and gand wash are there.service are quick and best . Veg Biryani are also very good .
Service is just awful . We were in a hurry as our train was about to leave, we requested thr manager regarding a speedy delivery but to deaf ears. Total loss of coordination among the staff and the passengers are the suffering. Just thanks to a lady among the staff who perceived the seriousness of our situation and came to our rescue. She served us quickly. Appreciate her and these two stars are just because of her service.
